Despite being described as large, the bells are small. Another Ghunghroo that was listed as a size 16 (these seem to be a size 14 or 1) was purchased. Another seller has small flowers (about 2 cm) which are clearly larger than these as shown in the attached pictures. In any case, the quality is very good and you can use it for children.
Unlike what I expected, this one took a while. Although I thought it would be four rows of bells, it was actually two rows, though you can wrap them around twice to make four. It seems that the string is quite coarse, making me worry about putting it directly on my skin, so I might put some cloth under it.
They're great for accompanying instruments such as hand and frame drums. I use them on my ankles while playing my hand or frame drums.
It is unusual for these ghungroos to be so small. In case that's what you wanted, please pay attention to what size is mentioned in the description before you order.
Only one piece was received in the first purchase but I was able to get a replacement done soon after. It is a well-woven bell that is sturdy and long lasting. Kathak can be practiced on this screen.
