Since I did not play clarinet, I don't see an issue if the strap hooks are similar.
Regardless of whether you play alto or tenor, you will be happy with this strap. This horn is adjustable to fit a variety of sizes. Irrespective of the age of the horn, the horn is a good indicator.
It extends about 22" for the soprano strap and about 23 1/2" for the tenor strap and baritone strap. *br>The strap is very easy to adjust, so it fits a wide range of My favorite part of the hook is the beginning. There is a lot of quality in this strap, it works great and looks good too.

Perfect I like the comfort of the Whenever I teach young students, I suggest they use this cheap and comfortable alternative to the stretchy Neoprene monster by Protec that most of them purchase as soon as they begin Generally, I recommend the smaller pad, but I recently started recommending the same strap with an added layer of padding since most kids think that a big pad is better than a small one (I am not a fan of One thing that bugs me about this garment is how it feels on my skin. When I am sitting and I have the horn resting in a particular position and I go to play, the hook usually gets tangled in a bizarre way, and I just have to tap it lightly to get it straightened I wouldn't mind having this issue if the price weren't so high. My preferred strap doesn't have this issue, but costs $70 instead.
As a result of a cervical fusion, I found the unpadded, regular nylon straps to be more convenient as I was always "fighting" the padded straps to find a comfortable position. Since the nylon is wide enough, it does not dig into my skin. It simply molds to my neck and does not bother me in any way. My pants are so comfortable that I forget I am wearing them! This strap is also available as an open hook design as well as a snap hook design. A open hook is safe to use when you are doubling on another instrument and you need to change quickly I like using the snap hook on my beloved Mark VI alto because it is more secure.
My daughter informed me she had wanted to play saxum since it had been a while since I had played. In addition to this padded strap, she did not like the stock strap that came with her sax, so I purchased one for her as well. It was this strap that she chose over the padded strap, so I got to use it. Despite not having padding, this is an extremely comfortable chair, and it can be easily adjusted. When she tried it, she liked how quick and easy it was You will need to adjust the slip. As a matter of fact, I now have the padded one and she is really enjoying it. There can be no comparison to the price of this strap, and it is definitely terrific. The one I have now is missing me so I will order another. Rico did a good job with the strap. It's comfortable and easy to use.
It is not fancy, but it is a good value and comfortable for anything smaller than a bari where extra padding is a plus. My car is always stocked with an extra, and I even keep a spare in the trunk. A metal hook with an open clasp (no clasp) is on the ring and it hasn't ever slipped off. The hook has a unique twisted shape and hasn't ever come loose. When using other straps with open metal hooks, I have pinched the hooks tighter with pliers to prevent accidental slipping, but this Rico does not require this precaution. A simple adjustment can be made to the length and it stays put once adjusted. Regardless of soprano, alto or tenor music, I use the same strap. The price is around $10, so you really have no reason not to try it.
These straps are great and I am very happy with them. was looking for something sturdy (metal hook) and professional looking, and this fits the bill. Although the curved hook on the bottom operates fairly well, it can sometimes get caught on other parts of the instrument when I create slack in the strap or shift my position (resting the saxophone on my thigh, for example, while When you put the weight back on it, you should be fine as long as you keep an eye on it. There is also only one thing that takes away a perfect 5 stars, and that is the way in which it does very slightly loosen up after playing for awhile. As a rule, all straps kind of unravel anyway, but there are some others that do not do this at all, so it is a few points against it, but it's still nothing major. During the hour I just tighten it up a few millimeters. This is not a deal breaker by any means. The instrument was bought with the idea of using it primarily for tenor, but it's also perfectly adequate for alto. Because I think the tenor one is definitely too small for alto players who want this strap, I recommend getting the alto model so you can use it both on alto and.
An instrument that is stable and not stretched is a good.
I really enjoy these straps, their colors and the round one-piece length control, which reminds me a lot of the De Jacques $70+ strap, are pretty cool Unlike the ultra-fast internet, this is not a fast-paced website A comfortable, supportive strap, but as a musician who plays saxes, flute, and the like, I cannot easily recommend this product Despite its simplicity, wind synth is quite comfortable. I would probably choose something with more padding if I had a tenor around my neck all night long. While the curlicue hook is good in that it prevents the horn from falling off, it can be tricky if your hands are nimble and you're moving from horn to horn quickly. As a person who is challenged, I must be challenged. I find that these straps are more than worth the reasonable price and would recommend purchasing a few to always have on hand.
Despite the excellent design, I wish the neck strap was a little thicker, but I didn't get something larger because it is pretty thin. I loved the twisted hook design and particularly liked the easy adjustment spool that can be maneuvered even with one hand. Listening to my son's complaints (ages 10 and 11), it tore at me. His growing body will make it possible for him to relieve some of this weight from the neck strap, but right now I will have to wrap something around it.
