It should be much more durable than you expect! I think the leather might need to break in a bit, but the shoe is It is also a good idea to use the sax holder, this will not put pressure on your
I make sure that the tenor players in my household (5'5" and 5'") use the 22" model both for modern alto and tenor saxes. We are by now at the halfway point in the adjustment of the neckstrap for our modern tenors. Although the neckstrap might not fit a vintage horn, it is a good idea to get more, if you intend to use it with one. The clip ring on the old 1934 Martin Handcraft Tenor is at the bottom of the adjustment range, so the 22" neckstrap mounts at the bottom of its adjustment range.
There shouldn't be any problem since the hook has a spring-loaded mechanism There is a pull lock in this model, which is why I choose it over All the best with your endeavors.
Using it with soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone was no problem for me. Soprano may find this melody a little awkward, but alto and tenor should have no trouble.

The flaw is in the design! In addition to being a full time saxophone player, I also teach privately. This neck strap looked like it might provide some relief from neck pain, so I was very eager to get it. I wouldn't have gotten a lower score if it weren't for the comfort bar, which is why I didn't get a lower one. Also, I felt quite comfortable with the padding on the back of my neck! I have only one complaint I have pain in my collarbone due to rubbing against the large knot under the padded material where it joins with the cord. This knot sits on top of the bone and rubs awfully! The sensation feels like someone is grinding their fingers against your collarbone for three minutes There's just one complaint I have with this otherwise terrific design it takes 4 hours! not for that, it would definitely be 5 stars and I would have been proud to wear it.
In all my playing over the decades, I have never found one that is perfect. There are no such devices. They either look good and blend in with your clothing on stage, but place a lot of pressure on your neck and back, or they are comfortable, but look like you are wearing some kind of orthopedic device, which would not look attractive. It does relieve the pressure on my neck but it is not perfect. The pads are not as thick or comfortable as I want them to be, and the strap does loosen after playing for a while. I have to keep tightening it to make sure it is at the correct So far, it is the best solution I have found that blends in with clothing and is not obtrusive. Perhaps it would be an ideal strap if it had been designed to sit on my shoulders more than on my neck.
love the style and look of this 24" leather neck strap from Protec. It's very comfortable, easily adjustable, and the chrome finish on the comfort bar makes it look very cool. I can relieve the stress on the sides of my neck with the comfort bar because it is wide enough. I find that the neck strap is well padded for comfort but not too wide to make my neck A 24" strap I got for my tenor sax is too long for my alto sax. In order to use my alto, I would need the 20" I wonder if they make a 22" soprano flute that would fit my tenor and alto voices.
Thank you for sharing it with me. In the first hour, the Neotech seems to begin elongating slowly after you adjust it, then it will continue elongating over the next few hours, so you have to adjust it a few more times. There is something comforting about the firmness of this one. It is actually an innovative idea.
Although this is probably a fine neckstrap for most players, it is definitely not designed for players who switch instruments frequently, such as myself in my pit orchestral work. There are no problems with it, and it seems well-built It has been well constructed, and I think the bar across the front is doing what it is supposed to You want to decrease the constriction of the neck and chest and try to distribute a bit of the weight of the horn. That's a good point. Although it is too small and difficult to remove quickly, it is just too hard to clip on and off. It won't be helpful to me at work, even if I did practice at home with it.
I just looked at the picture again and realized that the clip in the picture does not match the one that came with I think the clip in the picture would work very well, but the one on my strap is tiny, and it's difficult to put on and take I would appreciate an update to the product. During the review process, I lowered my rating from 4 to 3 stars based on false advertisements.
A nice half-way house. The ideal balance between a full-fledged neck strap and a basic neck strap There was a problem with the Easily holds an alto sax, allowing me to take some of the weight off my neck in order to put it on my shoulders. With the large opening, it is easy for me to slip it over my large head. During World War II, the Navy had If you don't have an instrument on it, the knotted cord (lark's head arrangement) is somewhat difficult to adjust, but it can slip out of adjustment if there is no weight on it. Even so, I like it better than the doubled version The luggage straps are hard to adjust and the mattress is hard to adjust The buckle strap arrangement on other neckstraps is different. It helps to have a plastic coated carabiner hook that swivels. I have updated I'm using the longer, 24" version to hold up a baritone saxophone a year later. There is a great deal of weight on our baritone sax. I find that this strap is more comfortable and flexible than a harness when it comes to aligning my instrument to my embouchure. The weight of the horn causes my back pain after six hours of playing a day, but I continue to use this strap rather than the three different types of harnesses I have purchased.
I like how this neck strap looks with leather on the neck and a metal clasp. It is however quite difficult to finely adjust it. there is no tension on the metal piece, it will just loosen by It is therefore imperative that you maintain I like the look of this, it is comfy to wear around.
When I used to wear my previous neck strap, I would often strangle myself by pulling the ends The ends of this strap are separated by a seperator bar It's so much better now! My only complaint is what's around my back of my neck - I wish it were more padded Therefore, it does not seem as comfortable as it should be.
