An octave key and a small metal ring should be placed approximately midway down the back of the sax. There is a ring on which the sax strap hooks.
It should fit if the thumb rest has a hole in it. Besides regular Neotech clarinet straps, we sell neotech clarinet straps as well.
I have played sax for over 40 years, but I am not a professional by any means. It is most likely that you would not be able to fit into this strap. If you need more adjustability, you should get one that is. There might even be an extra couple of inches there. The length is almost too short for me because I'm 5'9". There is only one way to adjust this one, and that is to shorten it. The strap otherwise looks and feels very nice.
Selected User Reviews For Neotech Saxophone Strap Regular Swivel Hook, Black (1901162)
Over the course of my life, I was a band director for 20 years. All of my students were impressed with the Neotech neckstraps, and my stepson has now become a converted. The neckstrap is the best part of his outfit. Playing with this strap provides him with good control, a secure hold on his weight, and a high level of comfort. The best thing about this neck strap is that his neck does not hurt and it is not annoying to have red rub marks on his neck like with his previous neck strap. This is a highly recommended product.
The alto saxophone in this unit belongs to my son. Besides marching and jazz, he studies economics, fine arts, and more Bands for concerts & events Since he plays in many community bands, he has a lot of experience. His favorite thing about this strap is its comfort and quality. The first one he bought lasted for years, so he bought this as a gift His recommendation is that you should try His first one finally wore out and he had to buy it again.
My son loves it and says it fits well and is easy to put on. My son's band director was blown away by it and commented on how nice it was. On Amazon, I got this at a very reasonable price and we are very pleased with the.
The neck strap I used for my first ever neck brace was exactly like this. My printer has been with me for more than ten years now. I had to buy the product again so I could teach the child of my friend. The sponge is thick, so it is comfortable, but on hot days, the sweat will literally build up on your back due to the thick sponge. Apart from that, this is a good and sturdy product.
This hood features thick Neoprene around the back of the neck, with a heavy nylon band around its outside, attached to a lighter nylon webbing that extends down to where the hook is placed. In addition, this hook appears as though it wouldn't be able to release your precious instrument at a moment's notice.
Unfortunately, this item is only available in three different lengths and It is highly recommended that you use this black plastic swivel hook with a positive spring-loaded hinge Open styles are preferred to styles with loaded closures. I have a 1928 tenor whose clip ring needs to be removed from the instrument due to friction, and I would suggest plastic instead of bare metal. I have a 1928 tenor and it has worn to the point where it is in need of repair due to There is evidence that a former owner attached the pictures with a metal hook. I like that it's regular length and there are plenty of adjustments on it. For me, this is very important since I sometimes swap instruments rapidly. Although I did not play every instrument with a neck strap during one performance, I did play five different instruments in general. As for this strap, I was glad I found it on Amazon at a reasonable price, as it is an excellent product.
It is awesome. It is awesome in every way. All aspects (definitely the metal hook) are high-quality. A quality product. In addition, it disperses the weight of a heavy vintage tenor sax over my shoulders in just the right way, allowing me to play for extended periods without the risk of getting too fatigued, which is really nice for me at my age. There is no smell of plastic or anything at all. This is a simple to use camera and I like how the angle is suitable.
It is very lightweight and very comfortable, the thick foam cushions the weight very I only have one comment that the straps can be shortened or lengthened more easily, so you have to be careful when adjusting them on the fly, but otherwise, it will work well.
My concern is the size. They advertise a longer model that appears to be smaller. I like the shape of the neck area but the size seems to be too large for me. I will not be able to use the neck strap I ordered with my alto, it may fit my soprano, but why should I be forced to change it? It is also problematic to use the hook. I just wanted to fuss with it. My simple hook was the same in elementary school, high school, and college and I never dropped the horn a single time. Even though it's a small issue, it's not usable because it's too short.
