In this case, the strap requires a button only at the bottom and not the top of the ukulele. You can activate a pickup by pressing the pickup button on your ukulele. Great strap. I like it very much.
There is a lot of narrowspace. The thing I bet would make you happy is if you took off the strings, put in the loop end on place, and put the strings back on. There is a 1/16-inch gap at the loop end, and the loop flattens out. If it works for you, then it is a good idea. Due to the abundance of pegs, I don't need that piece.
In my case, all the parts were present. Thanks to its two attach points I can easily swap between my scroll model and my small bass.
It hasn't been a problem for me to slide my uke In theory, if your shirt were made of a really slippery material, it might slip off a little. My ukulele is a bit neck heavy as well and I have had no problems with it. It will work just fine with a regular t-shirt or swearshirt. It's pretty cool that this strap fits me so well.

My first disappointment was that the strap was shipped in a way that made it seem as if the 'comfortable' part of it would always end up on my back, no matter what I did. Later I realized that there are several removable pieces, and you can mix and match them to place the 'comfortable' part in whatever position suits you best. Those same detachable links can be used to detach the strap as well, and you can leave the end pieces attached to your instrument so you won't wear out the ends by attaching and detaching them frequently. There is no way it will win any 'best looking strap' award. While it's small and plain, it has a lot of functionality, comfort, and durability. It's also quite important to keep in mind. This was used at a gig on Saturday night. *Edit*
No problems at all with the strap There are a few things I would like to add. On my F style mandolin I'm playing this. However, the scroll attachment is rather thin and doesn't work as well as it should. In fact, the strap managed to slip off the scroll several times when I set my mandolin down to play another instrument. If the scroll attachment was the same thickness as the strap, it would work better. A wireless pack is also present in my bag. Having bought this strap, I didn't even think of this when I bought it, but it's kind of hard to attach a wireless pack anywhere on the The extension part was encased in the strap it was on, so I managed to jam it in, but it was getting in the way. It isn't a deal breaker in any of these instances. Even though it has worn out, the strap still holds up well. The comfort level is pretty good, and if they offered cradles for banjos, I'd consider getting one of them. I've gigged this strap on an F style mandolin since 2017. Update 9/1/2019 This is the third time I've used it. This is the strap I have replaced the old leather strap with on my backup f style mandolin after I realized I hate it. Straps like this one are great and are comfortable. The following also applies The following has just come to my attention You can find it made in the US! The strap still works for me. *Edit 2/23/2021*My love for this strap remains unwavering.
product I was looking for finally appeared in this product, and I purchased two of them and I'm extremely pleased with them. There can be no other solution in my opinion. It is without reservation that I recommend these. I give it six out of five stars.
A tenor ukulele strap was bought to go with my instrument. While I did try to place the upper part of the strap just above the nut as suggested, I found that the strap got in the way of my left fretting hand. Since the headstock is narrow enough, I actually ended up repositioning the strap. The upper leash will be placed between the two tuner sets on the head stock. That makes sense, I hope. I just loved the way the padded shoulder strap looks now that it is out of my hand's reach. It also took me a little while to get the position of the shoulder strap just right with the various extensions. As soon as I realized where the proper placement is, I'm good to go. I am very pleased with the setup. My second ukulele now has an additional set of upper leash and lower strap button attachment parts and I am able to switch the main strap easily between the two instruments. Although the little spring-loaded catches for releasing the strap are pretty tiny and can be a bit tricky to depress, this is not a big concern since I rarely switch the strap between instruments.
Whenever I am not playing my mandolin, my son plays it. Since the strap we were using failed to stay adjusted, the mandolin would slide downward when On stage, this is not a good thing. In our case, it was a purchase.
It seems like most F style heads are heavy around the neck. A strap like this holds a short in place when it is worn over the right type of short. Perhaps I should add a bit of thin rubber to the back of the strap to make it adhere to various It is easy to disconnect with the quick disconnects. As for the end parts, I just keep them on, and just release the strap connectors and put them As well as being adjustable, it can also be rotated. I'm six feet three inches tall, and I don't use It is unclear to me why other reviewers could not find a happy medium with smaller children, since there are many options in length, all you need to do is try certain extensions and adjust the strap. I received all the strap ends with the unit. I made two with a hole for the scroll, and one with a loop for it.
It is adjustable and can be used on different mandolins and ukuleles. Being able to stand and play my mandolin is very important to me, and this strap allows me to do that (and more easily)!.
I have one complaint to make the button hole does not stay on the end pin of my In the end, I took a large triangular pick that I was not happy with, drilled a hole in the middle, cut a notch from the end of the hole to the hole, then slid the triangular pick over the end - it worked perfectly! Since the strap and pin of the mandolin have not fallen off (after playing daily for over 2 months!.
