The only reed that was dreadful was the one I didn't take the time to 'doctor' myself. I found about 40 that were fine. Considering you're dealing with a natural (and therefore unpredictable) product, that's a relatively high average. The tone and response of each Rico reed makes my job easy, as they're all extremely even and consistent from the very first time I play with them. The products are excellent and I'd highly recommend them.
was a little brighter than I'm used to, so I took a while to decide if I liked it (I might try a 3-hole From low B flat to high F sharp and everything in between, I get a smooth, clear tone. The soprano parts of these would, I think, not be my choice for alto or tenor, but they would certainly be suitable for soprano.
Honestly, they were better than my Hemke reeds, given that I just happened to have one lying around and I was using it. There seems to be a thicker tip on Ultimately, I found that I liked the cheaper much cheaper same company record much more. You can't go wrong with these and I would recommend them to everyone.
A soprano sax that I had bought was never quite satisfactory to me. There was a slight lisp in the tone. However, I only had reeds that were harder. The only softer reed that I could find was these, and I decided to try them out. A friend of mine suggested checking Amazon, and there they were. I hadn't even thought about it before, but my husband suggested it. I had the same brand I normally buy at my local music store, in the strength I wanted, for less than half of the price. Which way should I go to defeat this?.
Only one of the ten reeds was defective. Apart from that, the rest were fine.
Since I bought Rico reeds years ago, I have used them exclusively. Although I have tried some of the more expensive reeds, I do know that there are a lot more affordable ones out there. I would rather use these #3 reeds for the soprano sax. It performs well for me when I take it out of the box. This sort of product has a long shelf life and is consistent. Rico Royal's alto sax is also an important part of my playing. Reeds that are dependable and of high quality in general. Mike Monterey.
Even though I'm not a beginner, these rods left me with an excellent impression.
The Rico Reeds have been in my arsenal for a long time, and I decided to start up again with Rico reeds for my soprano saxophone after four decades of silence. In the past, I've used Rico on my alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, and baritone saxophone. So yes, I trust Rico Reeds to deliver an excellent sound. This is *br/*.
