Questions & Answers

Would this be short enough for the neck strap on my curved soprano? The one on my neotech alto is too long for it at the moment. ?

My soprano ukelele was not curved, but I used it for my tenor. As well, I would say that it will probably be too long. I still find it to be a very nice strap.

What will you need to know about sending the strap? There are two different lengths to choose from. It would be very nice if my daughter wore the Alto length. ?

There are two lengths of the strap. You should order the soprano/alto length from us if your daughter needs the alto The strap can be used on either a soprano or an The strap can be adjusted. Tenors and baritones are the other part of the range. Depending on the singer's voice, it can be adjusted to

What cushions can be added to a neck strap as a way to help with the pain?

Besides its nice padding and excellent adjustment mechanism, the Rico neck strap has a GREAT overall quality. The $26 price point doesn't allow you a lot of savings when it comes to

Do you think this would work well as a bass clarinet?

She got a good response from it at full extension, so I tried it with our community band's bass clarinet player.

Made of memory foam, it is a good, solid strap with no stretch
4/5

When I bought this strap a few years ago, I expected it to be an excellent alternative to Neotech and Pro Tec's neoprene straps. I will sum up my thoughts as follows The pros are This is 1. Because it uses strings instead of a webbing material, it is very easy to adjust and does not get tangled or twisted. 1. 2. My tenor saxe can easily be used with both my alto saxe and soprano saxes because I bought the Soprano/Alto length. (My height is average at The width is 7 inches. Some people may not be considered adults as it may not by everyone).
3. Solid and durable, the strap stands the test of time. If you clip the sax to the edge, it isn't going anywhere until The material does not give or stretch in any way. Can you think of any cons to all of this? Due to the material used in this strap which is memory foam as opposed to neoprene or leather, it was a little uncomfortable at first but then it started to feel more comfortable since those generally conform to the shape of your neck. Because of this, it feels different than the padded straps made from Neotech or Pro Tec, etc. At the end of the day, it comes down to the material that feels most comfortable to you. In my experience, I've found that the neoprene and heavy-duty leather neck straps are more comfortable, but you may feel otherwise. Just one more thing, I was surprised to see how big the strap is. A Neotech Soft Sax Strap is almost as large as this. Is it something I would buy Due to the way the material feels on my neck, I'm probably not going to like this strap, but that doesn't mean it's not an excellent one. This is definitely worth checking out if you don't like the way neoprene feels on your neck.

All straps are adjustable and comfortable
5/5

Straps are designed in a wide range of shapes and materials, but their main consideration is material, ergonomics, and fitting. A chamois/velvet-based material is used in the Rico If one's dress calls for it, such material can be worn against the neck or shirt. Both soft and slip-resistant, this material is sure to keep you comfortable. It consists of an inner layer approximately one-third the thickness of the outer layer There is half an inch of foam padding that cushions and distributes the weight of the instrument over a wide area, i. e. I do not feel it digging into my A mesh of nylon is sewn onto the outside of the neck strap to allow it to breathe. There is a single, tiny nylon cord passing from the neck of the strap to the hook on each side. I especially appreciate this design, since instrument straps usually remain unchanged from the neck to the hook, with the same thickness/width of material- The bulkiness of which I don't like. In particular, the Rico stands out for its length - We have a system that adjusts. There are a variety of straps (instrument, camera, backpack, binocular, etc. ) that adjust their length by threading the strap through a series of buckles or clasps It is simply not possible to make quick adjustments. A pulley system is used on the Rico, however It consists of an adjusting disc (for lack of a better word) that can be moved up or down in order to shorten or lengthen the strap That's all there is to it. Therefore, you want to fine tune the length. Just pull the disc up or down a little bit while you are wearing the instrument and you're done. appreciate this feature in particular because, although there is a defined, set position of the MPc (mouthpiece) relative to the mouth, assuming a given posture, I sometimes need to slightly raise or lower the instrument, e. g. My hands are on my knees and I sit in a v-shape. A standing position. When all is said and done The strap is fantastic.

I had no problems with my 11-year-old wearing it
5/5

It replaced the one that came from the rental place, and I bought it for my 6th grader who plays alto sax in band. In contrast, the hook on his sax rental strap won't break like the plastic clasp on the rental strap, so he is able to wear it easily. The length of the dress can be adjusted very easily, and it is It is possible for the sax to come off without realizing it, and that is the only potential negative. Whenever he is playing his sax, I tell my son to keep a hand on it, and to make sure the hook is secure if he must remove both hands. The risk of it falling to the floor is greater for an 11-year-old, so fingers crossed! The situation therefore appears to be in order so far.

That's the kind of thing my son enjoys
5/5

The saxophone I bought for my son uses this. As a result of the original neck strap he had, he was complaining about neck pain. As it was a simple strap, without padding, he could not afford to wear it for a very long time. His new strap is far and away better than his old one. Using a loop to attach the bag to the saxophone) and how much more comfortable it is than before. This is a very well made product, so it looks and feels like it will last for.

I liked the comfort of the strap and the ease of using the adjustment mechanism
3/5

I liked the comfort of the strap and the ease of using the adjustment mechanism. I could have received a defective one since the adjustment would slip out of the place I put it very quickly, something that I found very irritating. After I returned the strap, I never tried a replacement because I found a different one that interested me more. Possibly the slippage is due to a defect in the strap, but since I didn't go looking for a replacement, I don't know what the problem is.

The amount of stretch we needed was not excessive
5/5

It has been good so far, a lot of people recommended this one, so we decided we'd go with it. It has been working well. There may be other brands, but others have found it works as well.

There is no doubt that it is as comfortable as they claim
5/5

Despite the fact that I like the sax very much, I wasn't impressed with the neck strap that came with my A different one that I got before ordering the Rico was quite comfortable, but the adjustable straps that came with it did not appeal to me. As soon as I got the Rico, I was incredibly happy with how quickly and easily it fits. This strap is extremely comfortable due to the cushioning.

Saxophone straps that are the best
5/5

I bought the first one on Amazon, and now this one. Putting my first one into the hands of my oldest son, who began playing saxophone in 2013, was a memorable experience. This is something I borrowed from a friend who plays the sax. His favorite part of marching season is how comfortable and easy it is to adjust. He particularly appreciates it for those long practices. Earlier this year my youngest son began playing the sax, which gave me the idea to buy a second one for him.
