It is easy to open/unzip the case, but then you have to pull the zipper tab to get it closed, which is frustrating. It may be easier to use if the padding insert is sewn into the binding. As far as I'm concerned, it doesn't serve any purpose in the case if it's loose. According to me, two bocals fit perfectly in the hold There are elastic straps down the middle of the case (see photo left half), but on the other half my Fox (gold) and Heckel CD1 bocal (silver) are floating at the bottom. There has never been a configuration where all four are under elastics, even when I combine multiple combinations. Unless you're able to zip the case tight, the central pad will probably move very little, but in an ideal world, I'd prefer to keep everyone safely tucked in. The little case you are trying to protect has quite a bit of value.
I now have both of these bocal cases stashed inside the large pocket of the Marcus This bocal case is only used by me for two bocals, but I like how sturdy materials are used to construct it. The case appears almost rigid due to almost no flexing or bending, so it is likely that it is made of metal or very strong plastic underneath the nylon outer shell. I have a new Leitzinger bocal which is about 15mm longer than my old Heckel 1C, and it fits in here fine. Very well done!.
Definitely a reliable product. Bocal cases like this one can accommodate bend bocals as well as various types of baroque & fancy bows You can also find classical bocals.
It looks great and keeps my vocals much more secure than storing them in my padded My 2 fox bocals and 2 moosman bocals fit quite nicely. I can store up to 4.
I find it to be a good fit for my needs.
It was exactly what I was looking for!.
