Questions & Answers

The situation is confusing to me. Could you please let me know which product I will receive if I order this case? Is it the alto / soprano duo or the alto / clarinet / flute trio?

The tripak consists of an alto/clarinet/flute and does not have wheels or a The addition of wheels and handles is available to you upon request.

Does the front pocket of the tri-pac case have enough space to hold an alto stand from Hercules?

I'm not familiar with a Hercules stand, but I have my alto and soprano stands plus a lot of other gear with plenty of room. Definitely one of the better cases out there!

Is the neck and mouth piece of the saxophone on the outside or inside?

With this case, you will find a pocket on the outside along with a sax neck pack and a well on the right side of the case that will accommodate the sax.

My professional music career has seen 3 cases of this type
5/5

This is the 3rd of its kind I've owned. video camera was a wood Selmer brand video camera. It was heavy and woody, but served me well for 40 years. To replace it, I bought this case because it was the only one I could find that could hold multiple instruments. I find it much lighter and it does a good job protecting instruments. The large outside pocket of the bag may even fit an extra flute case or piccolo case. There may be enough space in the pocket for a slim oboe case. The downside is that the zippers and fabric cover are flimsy. During the first six months of usage, the zippers on the small accessory case and clarinet case fell out. As long as I had the case cover on, I never had to worry about those opening. As a result, the next thing to go was the material covering on the outside of the case, more so Eventually, one of the two zippers on the coat broke after Fortunately, its location was near the end of the track and the case was able to remain closed with another zipper. Eventually, the other zipper broke and ruined the plastic teeth to the point where it could not be repaired. The problem could not be fixed. Now I have to purchase another of these cases because it appears to be the only one available As if that weren't bad enough, Amazon took more than two weeks to deliver it. There was no way I'd have been able to attend all of those gigs without carrying multiple cases around.

Upon opening, it presents a flat surface
3/5

My opinion is that this is an excellent case. The Yani alto, the artley flute, and the buffet clarinet all fit nicely in the case. The outside pocket, which is quite large, is where I keep my reeds and other stuff. The weight feels about the same as my protec max alto case, maybe a little Unlike other cases, this opens flat and the cover won't stop halfway when I set it up, so it hits the guy's chair next to me. In addition, the shoulder strap clips are located between the front opening and the shoulder strap, so they are in the way when the bag is opened. It's useful for people who need to play multiple instruments at once. For traveling, I have a very light and sleek single case, like the protec max. If I come on a plane, my guard leather gig bag is what I use. This is a good video in general.

I think the backpack straps should be included with the heavy case
5/5

The alt clarinet is a Flute at the foot)*Quality materials* Attractive design* PROS There is no backpack straps included and you need to buy them separately. It is heavy and weighs 20 pounds with all three instruments inside. The main photo is actually inaccurate in representing the inside of the You will not have room for a sax neck, mouthpiece and a box of reeds, neckstraps and cleaning supplies after you place a sax neck and mouthpiece. There is, however, space outside that can be used to store the entire set.
Flute bags are dangerous to open at first, but you can memorize where the top of the bag is by looking at them. In multiple instances, I had to catch the flute parts at the end of opening the zipper. It turns out that I do not like the case so I decided to return it and opt for a lightweight sax case. I also plan to carry my flute and clarinet cases in my quality rolling case. It will be beneficial to my back in the long run.

The perfect solution for my problem! We are very satisfied with the results! The Protec cases have always been good and they've kept getting better over the years
5/5

I do almost every show with soprano, alto and tenor, so I purchased this case to consolidate two of them and make the trip to the car shorter. To be adequately protective and to have a sturdy frame with wheels, this case is a bit heavy even without horns. I don't use the shoulder strap that comes with it at all as it would be too much, but the wheels are great, so we don't need that. Both my vintage soprano and my Cannonbal A5 alto fit comfortably in it. You have access to plenty of storage for the There is even a storage pocket on the outside where I keep my wireless mic. This case would be perfect for tenor / soprano and even alto / tenor, but I'd rather have another combo case!.

This combo case is perfect for those who play sax
3/5

The purpose of this case was so my high school aged son could take both his alto and soprano saxes with him. I think this is exactly what we need, it's well made, looks nice, and seems very sturdy as well, although we haven't been able to test it since school ended soon after we bought the case, and we wouldn't have been required to drag it all around. His favorite part about this dress is its looks and its inside, and I feel that it will serve him well as well as he goes through college. It was a very good deal, and I was very happy with it.

I like the case but it is This is a good argument
3/5

Alto, soprano, flute, clarinet, saxophone stand is able to accommodate all these instruments. Arnold S. may access the page only if he/she is Arnold. There is a The harmonies alone are too heavy even with soprano and alto. Although the wheels are flimsy, it still has too much weight. A poorly stitched Velcro is found on the outside of the jacket. Make a cloth-covered case from lightweight plastic and cover it with a light weight material. It might be impossible to return it due to it's weight, but it comes with a lot of benefits. It's not bad to deal with Protec customer service.

I would not recommend you to purchase this product since it is poorly built
5/5

However, I'm concerned about the soprano. I think it's protected reasonably well, but my alto is considerably more Supporting structure for soprano consists of a soft, pillowy material covered in Unlike other supports, this one is secured to the case with Velcro, and since it is spongy, the soprano can constantly wiggle around while wearing it. In addition to the side, there is also an up An up-and-down motion. In comparison with other Protec products, this case is not constructed to the same saftey specifications.
**Sometimes I used this case to transport my soprano in my car for short distances, but it needed adjustment after both times. This product is not something that I would recommend and I shouldn't have purchased it in the first place! Anyone interested in receiving a free copy is certainly welcome to do so.
