The horn is nice. As a novice, I don't know all the case trivia, but there are several old saxes I am trying to restore and none of them fit The majority of newer cases fall under that description. This one would be a concern to me. If your Buescher had issues with the lift the keys give the bell, and if your length was a little too long, perhaps you could use a bell lift. The way I have been keeping my saxes is to buy old luggage and convert it into a single case. About $80 worth of materials are required. Consider the size and shape of your 3 dimensional footprint, and search for an old piece of luggage that is still in good condition. If tenor cases are still available, you could refit them. It is understandable that you are frustrated. My sincere wish is that I could do more to
Yeah, there's no doubt about that. It was a purchase that I just made for the old Vito alto sax I used to own. Exactly what I expected. A small area is available for the mouthpiece and reeds as well as enough room for the neck. The case is quite nice. It is easy to carry and lightweight.
The new case you are going to use with that horn will need be handled with care The tonehole guards on vintage horns are generally installed on BOTH sides because vintage horns normally have both sides of the bell with toneholes, which modern cases do not allow. It is impossible to use a modern hardshell case with either of my antique Bueschers.
That is a hard case for sure. It is not possible to lock latches. There is a decent amount of storage space inside. It satisfied my son's sax needs, and I am glad I bought it.

In order to replace a thirty-year-old machine, we purchased this This Yamaha YAS-A has been around for a year. Alto sax 21 student model. Despite our dissatisfaction with the purchase, we are quite pleased with it. There are lots of aftermarket mobile cases that gamble on size, especially when it comes to the bell shape, but this one fitted perfect in all aspects. One thing to keep in mind is that the case will close a little tightly the first few times the sax is placed in it. To mould the foam and soft covering to the bell, it takes a bit of time. In preparation for its use, we placed the sax in a case and waited two weeks before opening it. Having molded the case well, it now opens and closes like a custom case was specially made for the saxophone. Overly tight closures can be a sign that the bell is too big. I like the durability of the plastic and the ease of opening the latches. In addition to mouthpieces, ligatures, reeds, and a neck strap, there is a lot of room for extras. A hard plastic case shouldn't have an issue with weight as it is as expected. The bag is not equipped with a shoulder strap, but there are rings to add one if necessary. We highly recommend a look at this alto sax case replacement if you are looking for a good one.
You will need a blanket to improve the lining of the bag if you use a thicker felt. Despite this, my real complaint is that it is unable to play vintage instruments. This item is half an inch shorter, an inch thinner, and not as wide as the specs list (can anyone measure using I'm not sure why I would expect a bit more for such a low price. There are two other brands that make a model that is larger and one that makes a model that is based on a model that is bigger.
Honestly, I like this case very much. To protect my Stephan Houser alto saxophone, I purchased this case. I was pleased to discover how well the sax fitted into the case, as well as how well the neck fit into the slot in the case. If this case had a cradle for the mouthpiece instead of just having it in the compartment, I would really appreciate it. When compared to how light it is, it is remarkable how durable this sax case It is unlike many of my other saxophone cases which often cracked at the corners after a small impact. This one, however, is quite durable. If you are looking for a sturdy and affordable case for your saxophone, I strongly recommend this.
It took us considerable time to decide on this case for our sophomore year of extra storage compartment is a bit small. Since our kid wears a full chest harness, this case is lacking in storage (compared to the school's alto sax bags and the original case that came with the saxophone). Our team is evaluating whether or not to return this case. It's so sad. This week's update It has a home in our house, but our kid just stores a small amount of sax gear in the "extra storage compartment. ".
Another case didn't fit, and the neck wasn't wide enough. It would be awesome to have this guitar case as well as my awesome SKB guitar case. The assumptions I made were correct. I will be using my alto sax for a while. The book is for my son, who is in 6th grade. I was impressed by how well the latches fit. My son might be able to swing it around and keep the door closed. The lining of the bag was deemed weak by some reviewers. As a result of the width of the instrument, it only needs to be thin in the places where it is required to be. Fur actually does not change it is the padding that does. There is black fur inside the case.
The case hinges are situated in such a way that it sits erect first, I thought it was broken but on closer inspection it turned out to be the pressure (making the case stay open) that makes the latches much more secure than they otherwise would have been. The purchase has been very satisfying for me. How much more can I ask for? It has survived a couple months on the bus with a 6th grader. Adding an update This case is still in very good shape as of today, 3/8/2018. There is no problem with the Nonetheless, the inside of the condo is very nice. My son is now in high school, and he uses his saxophone quite often. We have received a great deal of value for our money in this case.
My middle schooler has an old Vita Sax that we refurbished, and we wanted a case that would protect it from anything he I felt like the sax was made just for that part of the band. As well as looking really nice, it is really functional. It is strong and solid, and it fits snugly on his saxophone. In addition, a small compartment inside holds his small accessories just fine. There's no better way to describe it. This case is one I would recommend over and over again!.
It is amazing how you know exactly what you are buying when you order an SKB case. As with many cases I have bought to protect my gear over the years, this one was no different. After I bought this case for my son, I asked him what he would rate it at, and he answered "5 stars". This is like getting two reviews for the price of one.
This was a very impressive presentation! The pros are The outer shell is made of hard material to protect the The interior is plush, the handle is sturdy, and there is an empty spot to store reeds, mouthpieces, and the like, and a place to store the The cons are Any replacement case may not fit your instrument properly, as there is always a risk. It happens to be somewhat awkwardly shaped so that it fits somewhat tight. This is important Make sure you know which case you are ordering by contacting the seller before you buy. The sample we ordered came with two cases, one soft and one hard. The store provided us with the hard case, so unless you happen to want to end up with a damaged instrument, you should get it. BRIEF DESCRIPTION I definitely give this case five stars. For the price, it is the best.
