Questions & Answers

A C is in my possession. Alto saxophone by Conn. What is the fit of this item inside of the ?

The age of the saxe determines how long it will last. It won't fit if the bell pads are on the right side when facing the bell.

Can this case be used with a P. Can you tell me about the Mauritain System 76 Alto? It looks like a bell horn, doesn't it?

My guess is that it wouldn't. I have used it for my daughter's student model Conn and it fit perfectly.

What is the fit of a Yamaha YA, 280?

I have a YAS 23 alto sax for my son. There is no discomfort in wearing this. Have you ever compared sizes before? I wish you all the best!

Next to the bell, there is a compartment for mouthpiece and neck. Closure with a zipper. The pros include It is a great alternative to a hard case if you don't want to spend the money on one. As compared to some similar cases, I would say that this is better. leather case appears well-made, and it seems to last a long time. A solid grip appears to be attached to the handles. plenty of room for the pinky cluster on the left hand. Its horns should accommodate all modern horns. There's a lot of space in the main compartment. There is a secure compartment for the mouthpiece, as well as a neck compartment that won't allow things to Here are some cons (see the article "Cons" There is sufficient space in the big pocket for a large music book (see below under "Cons"). There is a small pocket in which you can put a mouthpiece or a 3D object (see "Cons", below). Closure with a zipper. There is a velcro joiner on each side of the main handle, which separates right and left sides. The Velcro tab on the closure will be There are more things to undo, and if they aren't always compressed, it could very well end up in disaster. The lid was the only part that had padding. Consequently, the horn can bump against the key posts, since it is not secure enough to hold the neck cap. Otherwise, my horn was in good shape. It is difficult to separate the neck and mouthpiece compartments because the divider has been poorly attached. My top inch may not have fallen out entirely, but it had no connection with the rest of my nose. Broken metal strap hardware can occur either at the beginning or after a while. The metal is thick enough, but it is cast, so the quality of the casting and the material could cause it to break I don't know. There is no way to remove the straps from a backpack. They can be covered with a flap, but they are still present, and the case doesn't lay Having a look at it, it seems okay -- it isn't wobbly or hilariously off-balance It's not quite flat, but it's not quite off-kilter. When zipped shut, it will only fit saxophones with bell pads all on the left side. It will also probably not fit large music folders or thick books (such as the Real Book) It would be possible to zip part way up. There is a place for two small pockets on the front, but only one works. In this case, a budget-friendly approach worked for selling a horn. For the price, it's ok. IMO, these styrofoam cases aren't strong enough to be permanently used. These items may last a couple of years, but they're essentially The protection provided by these products is limited. This is much better than a gig bag, but a real wood case is just as bad.

I highly recommend this book! This is 5 out of 5! I bought this to give to my daughter, who is entering 6th grade band
5/5

She started getting blisters after 2 days after using the case that came with her sax since it was big, awkward and heavy. I am amazed at what I have seen. She loves it, as it is easy to carry, light enough that she doesn't need to use the backpack straps, very well made, has compartments and pockets, protects our investment in a sax, and makes the instruments look great!.

This is a great This lightweight, sturdy bag is perfect for everyday use
5/5

This is a great My son received this gift. He could not imagine his old, clunky case even weighing a tenth of its weight. The fact that it can be used as a backpack appeals to him. With everything else he has to carry in his bag, this will be a lot easier. He can carry his band folder, sheet music, etc. in this large pocket.

It is a hard working case that is great value for money
5/5

One more is on the way! daughter plays marching band, jazz, and symphonic bands so her everyday commute refers to an abuse that takes place in a variety of environments (concert halls, bus luggage compartments, band instrument locks, etc. ). In 2016, we bought it for Christmas, and it is now starting to look worn out. The foot portion of the case has a cracked styrofoam section, and the main strap that holds the case open has detached. And there is a broken zipper pull. I think that's all there is to Another way of putting it, a great value for Here are the numbers This case is one of the most abused and worn cases in the world, and has endured 5 years of abuse as a teenager. On the outside of the bag are extra compartments where her neck strap, marching flip folder, sheet music are stored, and on the inside there is ample space for cork grease, reeds, tuner, and the fuzzy wand for the small instrument.

The value you receive goes beyond what you paid As you can see, I have a Eastar AS-150 I ordered it in size III and it fits There may appear to be a bit of room on the reverse side, but that is covered by the molding
4/5

There are two folds to this piece of paper The inside of the bag has a flap for storing reeds, the reed guard, the neck strap, and the cleaning cloth. With half an inch headroom left over on the width, I could fit my Essential Elements 2 book (12" x 9"), as well as my other sheet music. I opted for a sturdy zipper with smooth edges, compared to my former which got stuck around The bag has a "Subway Handle" and an adjustable backpack strap, as well as a handle at the top to handle vertically. I'm afraid this is not a hard case. PLASTIC ON THE OUTSIDE IS HARD TO MEAN! Using cloth for the exterior and molded Styrofoam for the interior, the box is made of two materials. The reason why I gave it 4 stars is because we were looking for a plastic hard case, but this one did not make any mention if it's made from plastic or foam. The legs in the vertical stance at the bottom of the product weren't particularly strong. As a whole, I am pleased with this product. In addition, it is the molded Styrofoam that is hard to work with.

what it is supposed to do Previously, I had a Yanagisawa Alto sax that came with an old fashioned hard case, which fit well but was also I like the case because it works great, is lightweight, and has good outside pockets for music, etc
4/5

My only complaint is the size of the accessory section, which is small. I give it a five-star rating. There is no room for my neck strap in it, so I place it in the outside pocket, which is fine. If you want to store it, you could also put it in the bell of the saxophone. As a whole, this is an economical product that works well.

It has a single flaw in my opinion
5/5

Having a hard shell case for her alto is a necessity since the one that came with my alto was showing its age, and wasn't working as well as Rather than replacing it with that I chose to get this. The horn fits nicely in the horn and the horn is light weight. Although I like the shoulder strap, the backpack straps would be better off without them. By opening the lid, they make it unbalanced and it falls backwards as soon as the horn is removed.

The case is very nice
4/5

This case is perfect for a music student who is always on the move. All the stuff you need for classes and marching practice is stored in it the only flaw is that one of the clips on the backpack strap broke For my daughter's bag, I got sturdy clips to replace the broken one since she loves it and does not want a different bag.
