If this case fits a Selmer La Voix II, it would look like this It fits the SAS280 model Rather, it has a brushed aluminum look and is not metal.
Both an Alto and Tenor version of this are in my possession. I have them in both sizes for my Selmer and Yamaha horns. A cannonball has not been tried by me. There is a LOT of room inside these cases for both Selmer and Yamaha. They probably won't fit if the bell is oversized or if there is anything wrong with the bell.

The BAM saxophone case is probably the best made out there, and this is absolutely the real deal. It's worth noting that Novelty Items is one of Bam's largest online retailers, so you don't have to worry about buying this case online due to the store name or its online purchase. It actually comes with three latches now, not two like I said, I found out all this because it actually came with three latches At first, I was convinced that the package I had received was a fake, but I contacted BAM and they explained everything to me and let me know that it was an authentic BAM product. Although snug to begin with on the Selmer Mark VI, if you leave the horn in the case for a day the case molds to its shape and actually fits the horn quite well. There is no end in sight for it.
I would have liked to have been able to put the neck in the case as well as the sax, but I am happy with the way the case fits.
Considering I travel quite a bit, I have been looking for a case that would keep my YAS 62 well protected. In reviewing my research, I learned that bam was much more than just a company that made mid-range, lower-priced There is only one higher end sax case on the market, however, and it is called the La Defense. put this thing through a lot of punishment, and although there are scuffs to prove it, the La Defense has saved my horn many times over. Its design is phenomenal, and it will keep your horn safe and sound. My horn did not fit inside my case, it was almost too tight. I was a bit nervous when I got it since I thought it was too small. However, after I left my sax in the case, the protective padding found its way to my horn, which means it cannot move inside the case, and it is this that ends up being the reason so many people end up having may seem steep to pay for a case, but in the end, it can save you thousands, if not millions, of dollars later on in I have one problem with it and that's the spacing.
