Selected User Reviews For Jargar Viola Strings (Jar-4883)
These strings are widely used by violists and cellists as a complement to other strings, but I have never used them before. The sound was great and they were ready to play within a few minutes. They settled in so fast that I could not believe it. The Jargar replaced an A string that broke on Evan Pirazzi, so I decided to try it. This is definitely going to be part of my string combination.
There may be a chance that these aren't real Jargars, but I am disappointed nonetheless.
I know it sounds too good to be true, but this one sounds way better than the other options I was considering.
The previous reviewer was completely right in their assessment. There is no better string to play than this An array. This song sings and sounds incredible without falling into the typical whiny, tinny, harsh sound metallic music is known for. This is the core of everything It tends to be the case with strings. A thumbs-up!.
I used it on my son's viola and it was great!.
I love it.
Strings of great quality.
There is no doubt that the Jargar is the best A string I've ever The sound is powerful and bright without being tinny or "wire-y," making it a perfect match for It is this A set with Pirastro Tonica medium strings for D, G, and C that is ideal for my violin. In the case of bright or squeaky instruments, this could be too vibrant. You should probably try Jargar A with Thomastic Dominant or the full set of Dominants rather than this combination. It will take a few days for all of the synthetic strings to break in. They will be squeaky, metallic, or harsh out of the box.
