In our stringed instruments, we tend to use dominant.
This string section works best for me because I am in a community orchestra. Our pieces usually are college level and unabridged editions of classical repertoire, and I think these strings will bring out the musicality of the pieces. Despite the fact that my viola is an intermediate model, there are no special strings to make it sound the best.
