I just want to say that the strings are okay

My only complaint about these strings is that I don't really love them, despite the fact that I use lots of D'Addario products on both my violin and guitar. Strings like these don't have much "oomph" to them, but I suppose that might be a plus for a student instrument, as they won't amplify mistakes as These headphones don't produce the clear, focused sound I was expecting on my viola. They sound a bit muffled, soft, and lacking in clarity. It might not be interesting to you, if you're a student, to hear all your mistakes in your playing, or the sounds of bad bowing practice. You can find better options elsewhere if you are an advanced user, wanting clear, focused sounds.

In the package I received my strings, there were instructions explaining what colors were on each string. I think it is unfair for me to give this product 5 stars since this is my first time putting strings on my viola. It's basically impossible to tell one brand of string It did not snap when I put them on, so I've had no problems.

Not happy at all

This was a thoughtful gift to my boyfriend, so I was pleased to order it for him. He attempted to put them on his viola as soon as he took them out of the bag. When the first cord broke, it followed the other. My cords were damaged in shipping and I would like to receive a refund or a new set. As a Christmas present, this was given to me. I sent an email to the seller more than two weeks ago, but no response has yet been received.

It snapped as soon as I saw it

As I was stringing it, it snapped

There was too much blue thread covering the string for it to fit through the fine tuners and it would not thread A C string snapped as the peg was turned. String got caught in the finesse tuners, and I had to cut the string with wire cutters to free it.
