Spirocores take a lot of effort to play with the bow. After that, Evah's came along and provided a great pizz sound, essential for playing jazz (my profession) and they bow beautifully as well. There's a nice growl in the low end to them (though I don't think it comes close to the spirocore) that seems to swell when sustained, such that they have a tight focus. There is only one negative thing that I would mention these strings lose power instantly when they die. It can happen to anyone you pick up the bass one day and there is These lasted about seven months when I used a set of these light meters. It takes me hours to practice each day and to play professionally for three hours each day This is not too bad, since it is 5 nights a week. To be honest, I'm not very good at cleaning the strings after using them, Hope this review encourages you to give these strings a try. There is no reason you won't like it.
It's pretty cool to hear these strings. I love how playable this game is and how great the sound is.
I wanted it just like that. What a great set of strings! Their sound is terrific for jazz, and they are not too bad for classical music. Most of the music I play is jazz and music theater, and the players play exactly how I wanted.
This is excellent. The music sounds like a full body, it's easy to play, and it has.
My only wish is that I could pay what I paid for them in 2012 in 2015! Unfortunately, inflation does not seem to affect the quality of goods. So do I and so should you if you like Evah Pirazzi's.
Strings of great quality. The letter was sent on time.
I love it.
I wasn't satisfied with the original strings on my hybrid bass when I got it, as they didn't offer the tone and thump I was seeking for A web site that helps you pick strings for different types of music helped me decide on the string for my Bluegrass music. After reading blogs about different types of Bluegrass strings, I found a really helpful website. You make an investment in your bass strings when you spend more than $200, and a mistake would be a real disappointment. I am not aware of what type of strings were on the bass at the time I purchased The tone and sustain of the stings, however, were extremely good and I would recommend them.
