They are all very different, so I don't think I would pick one over the other. There is nothing that will compare to this. Some of the other Pirastro Rosins are as well.

As I have to use natural rosins, I avoided Pirastro for awhile since it contains only natural rosin ingredients. However, I had discovered their rosin recommendations section while searching on the Pirastro website for strings. I am now ordering Pirastro rosin online. It turns out they recommended this rosin not only for my specific strings, but also for use with an electric cello I was planning on buying. It only made sense, so I went for it, and I am so glad Playing on this is truly the smoothest experience I've ever had -- on an entirely new level for me. The rosin is definitely worth a try if you are at a point where you are wondering if your instrument is limiting your playing abilities or if it is you.
My experience with this rosin has been disappointing. Although I am usually brand loyal, I have to say that this rosin didn't have enough grip for my string/bow combination. It is a good quality rosin, but just wasn't good enough for me this time. There is quite a lot of slipping and screeching with this one (with Prelude and Fiddlerman carbon fiber on Cecilio 100). The rosin here may be better suited for a summer scent. now, I am a fan of the Cecilia signature for the However, it is quite expensive. I cannot express how fantastic the sound of this is, and two passes is enough to keep it going It's not as expensive as I thought Melos is the Greek word for to. My plans are still to try out a few more and update this if I find a better one for less.
Having tried several different cello rosins, I've discovered that it is entirely a personal choice.
This particular product has a warmer feel than the other two. I feel that the bow vibrates the strings more effectively when playing. As a new cello player, I found the other rosins (a student standard) were too hard for the bow to grip well.
Rosin that I love. This is one of the best values around. The sound is great. It's nice to have the grip without being too tight. While I've tried rosins for $30 and $70, this one keeps getting a tick in my box. There is a risk that it can become powdery and leave a lot of residue on the strings, but it does not gunk them up as fast, so they can be easily cleaned. While I still need to use rubbing alcohol from time to time to thoroughly clean, it's not as often as I used to with the.
Rosins are a good starting point for beginners because these are darker and produce an interesting tone. It does not take much to make a significant impact.
I find this to be extremely impressive The rosin on my student cello is a good quality and provides a full, clear sound.
The program seems to be well received so far by my son. He said it is a bit better than the cheap kind we bought in the past.
Rosin is a marvelous product.
