The tone of the instrument is very much improved from what I was using previously I've experienced a more subtle and sweeter sound with this rosin than I've ever experienced with other models.
Performing violin and viola professionally for the past 48 years, I have a wealth of experience to share. My experience with Hill light and dark, Bernadel, Eudoxa Olive and Golflex rosins tells me that this rosin produces the best tone with the least dust. In terms of tone, traction, and dust, Guillaume is the best.
Definitely worth the money.
A great concert violinist Nicola Beneditti recommended this rosin to me, so I bought it, and it lives up to all expectations.
It produces a great tone, is on the "grippy" side, has a low bow noise, and is very clean. A nice rosin throughout.
On soft cellos, I think it works very well. While I am pleased with the silver case, I hope the wooden case is also available.
The item I received was good, the shipping was fast, and it was well packaged.
So, if it was good enough for him, then it must be good enough for me, too. It was a good decision.
