Questions & Answers

How wide is this pickup's frequency range? I'm thinking about making an autoharp version of it. ?

Thank you for your inquiry,br>br>hello,br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br> To answer your question, this pickup will increase the volume of all audible frequencies. You might also want to consider our AP series pickups, which might work a little better and don't require any modifications. Best,br>br>Kremona North America,br>br>

Is it possible to hook this up to a game console?

Hello,br>br>My name is Sean, and I'm a KNA pickups representative; to answer your question, you can plug directly into a mixing board.br>br>Best,br>br>Sean H. br>Kremona North America is a company based in the United States.

Is it possible to use phantom power in any way?

Because it is not a balanced output, this is a passive piezo pickup that does not require or support phantom power. You COULD use an A/C adapter, batteries, or phantom power to pass the signal through a preamp.

Is cp 69800 included in the shipment to Mexico?

The shipping cost about $7 in my case, and it arrived without any issues.

The best of the best
5/5

The only thing that could be better is a downsize of the antiquated 1/4" Phono plug (hopefully in the future). I understand that this is the "industry standard," but it always looks like it belongs in the late 1940s (which it does, haha).

For acoustic playing, this is a good choice because it mutes the violin
4/5

It appeals to me, and I've used it several times since purchasing it. The sound quality is good, but you must go through a pre-production process. amp to get the best sound. If you play acoustic music, however, installation will silence your violin. You can remove it, but I'm afraid that too much "tinkering" with it will cause damage. So I only use it for dances and performances, and in acoustic settings, I switch to another fiddle.

ONCE IT WORKED PROPERLY
3/5

This was a gift for our daughter, and the first time we used it, it worked perfectly. It was iffy the second time, and the third time it was clear that the jack does not properly contact cable inputs, and thus does not work reliably. I don't know who to contact for a replacement because it was only 1 day after our "return eligibility" ended. It's one thing if a touring musician used it every day and had problems with it, but my daughter only used it a few times and it doesn't work. br>br>I'd be delighted to find a replacement to give Kremona another chance. But I'm afraid I'll have to switch brands.

This is a fantastic find
4/5

What a great violin pickup! I gave it four out of five stars because it did exactly what I expected it to do: it muted the sound just a little bit. For the money, it has a good, clean sound. Prepare to modify your bridge slightly to allow for the Piezo pick to be inserted into the space between the opening above the bridge foot and the bridge foot.

Great value for money and a great addition
5/5

This was bought for a performance, and I was very pleased with it! It was very simple to put on and take off; all I had to do was lightly sand the bridge opening (which did not cause any harm). I don't have any other pickups to compare it to, but the sound was fantastic. I was pleased and glad I read the reviews because this is an amazing product for the price!.

We were pleased with it until it broke down after five uses
4/5

We were pleased with it until it stopped working after five uses. It was light, easy to install, and had a pleasant sound. It was only used sparingly by us. So I believe it arrived with a defect; we contacted customer service, but have yet to receive a response, so I can't comment on how they attempted to resolve the issue. br>Recent changes: I contacted customer service, and they were fantastic. They acted quickly and promptly refunded my entire purchase price. I'm going to try the microphone again. I'm hoping it was just a blip in time.

I was pleasantly surprised
4/5

I have an electric violin, which I enjoy playing. I also have a nice acoustic violin that I've always wished had a pickup so I could use my Peavey guitar amp with it. So I took a chance and bought this pick-up truck in the middle of the price range. I was very pleased with the tone and the ease with which it could be installed.
