Questions & Answers
Given a salt-corrosive environment such as a beach area, I would say it will most likely corrode over time. The tuners' main body is black-plated base metal, with a nickel-plated tuning screw. plated. For added protection, I'd recommend spraying the main body with Rust*leum paint and lightly greasing the threads. However, for the price of these, I'd suggest purchasing extra sets and replacing them when your strings wear out.

When I was looking for a new one, I came across this set and decided that the black and gold looked better. They don't have a cheap feel to them. They're easy to put together, and the screws don't come loose.
These tuners were installed on a 1984 cello and fit perfectly, as did my strings. If the nut at the end of the string with the loop is of a larger variety, it may come into contact with the tailpiece when fully tuned. This happened to my C, but all I had to do was tune it down, then tune it up with pegs. Also, the tuners' construction is very solid, and the gold pegs look very nice and high-end. end, as well as turning out exceptionally well. Overall, I would strongly advise anyone looking for fine tuners to purchase these. Note that these only work if the tailpiece already has the required keyhole-like holes; if the tailpiece has fine tuners built in, you must purchase the tuners from the tailpiece's manufacturer.
These were a huge improvement over the cheap fine tuners I was using on my cello. They're simple to put together and look fantastic! This item comes highly recommended from me.
We only got two of the four, despite the fact that they appear to be of good quality. Only two of the four bags were inside, despite the fact that the bag had been labeled as such.
They arrived on time and were even better than I had hoped for. Very pleased with the product; it works well with my cello and is of good quality.
These are exactly what I was looking for. Adjust the settings as needed. well. tune.
These were recommended to me by my father, who said they are excellent.
They're a good investment. They are, however, quite heavy, and I would recommend upgrading to a Wittner tailpiece.
