I'm not sure how long it is, but it fits my 4/4 perfectly.
The screw has a diameter of 4mm, while the nut (black part) has a diameter of 6mm. Hopefully, these dimensions will assist you in determining whether or not the tailgut will fit.
Sorry, but I'm not familiar with the subject. Purchased on behalf of another person and delivered to them directly.

But I didn't think it was necessary. I gave it a shot and found it to be quite enjoyable. However, I do not believe there is a significant benefit. It is significantly more expensive than the nylon versions. However, it isn't something you should change frequently (if at all). As a result, cost isn't an issue. br>I like how flexible it is while still remaining rigid; As a result, no settling is possible in theory. in is necessary. However, I did not use it for a long enough period of time to confirm this. br>I didn't notice any difference in sound, which is really all that matters. br>In the end, I replaced it with a thicker nylon one because I was concerned that it would wear out or cause a notch in the ebony tail pin because it was so thin. br>I'll keep this in case I want to try it again with a titanium tail pin later.
To get the correct length for the violin, I had to unscrew the nuts almost to the ends of the bolts, so keep that in mind. This would not fit a viola, but it was perfect for my violin. Parts that are made of metal rather than plastic. It also sounds good. Shipping was very quick. I would highly recommend this product and would buy it again if the price was right.
This tailgut piece was far superior to the one that came with our violin. This should outlast the rest of the violin, in my opinion. It was fairly simple to set up.
I think this would make a great high-quality tailpiece wire, but the threaded ends were too wide for our tailpiece, and I didn't want to drill them to make them wider.
This is far too short to be used with a composite tailpiece. This is on a 3/4 size cello; a 4/4 cello would exacerbate the problem.
My electric violin has been saved thanks to this tail gut. I'm no longer able to tune the strings without the entire thing snapping. I'm not going to use any more nylon tail guts. Titanium is the only way to go!.
At least on my cello, it's a small investment that pays off handsomely.
