I find it incredible
NOT AT ALL. However, you should practice that you should put plenty of rosing on every tie you wear and even it out. think that the bow maker should always prep the hairs with enough colorony for a good result. ) Rather than Thus, that will be the case. IF THIS WERE NOT THE CASE, THIS issue would not arise. TO BE SAFE, I SUGGEST THAT YOU SEEK OUT A BOW MC. It's important to foresee that you'll get some sound every time. Violonist / Violinist Marie Opsahl, best in the world
It's a matter of preference what size bow you choose. Since a 13 inch viola is a small viola, I would say it is OK in terms of size. I have used this bow on a 15 1/2 inch viola and on 4/4 violins, but I am still a novice, so what do I know? In my opinion, fiber bows are much lighter in weight than wood bows, so the real issue is weight instead of bow size. To discover which one you prefer, you will need to try playing with a wood bow and comparing it to you fiber bow. When using my fiber bow, sometimes I have to slightly press down on the strings, whereas with a wood bow, I would not need to do this. A fiber bow, on the other hand, is extremely light, which makes holding and hurling it easier, especially for someone like me who is a novice.
The 16" viola I used it on belonged to my son.

My viola is 14 inches long and I bought this. Viola (a Karl Knilling) and pernambuco bow (which I had to rehair) were both used and badly worn out when I bought them. I didn't think it would be worth it to rehair this bow for what I paid, and it does look good for the price. My teacher immediately expressed skepticism about the black horse hair when I brought it to the viola lesson. In any case, I applied some rosin (I used Jade and Pirastro Gold) and that seemed to cure the issue. Although I wish it was shorter because of my short arms, I found it to be weight-wise okay. My 14" viola has about the equivalent size of a 4/4 violin, and the shoulder rest I use is meant to fit a 4/4 violin, so the bow I use is a few inches longer than the bow that came with the viola originally. It is really tiring to play for an hour when my arm is so I have therefore gone back to my original bow whenever I have to play my viola for a long period of time. I got my old bow fixed by my teacher. The carbon fiber bow provided here is a great value for the price. This is at least half of what I've seen at local music stores, even at their sale prices.
It feels like the first time I can make my viola stand out or blend in based on my own preference. The tone can be controlled so easily In a way, it feels like I'm cheating using this bow. The tones can be quite subtle when I desire, or they can take off with a very different tone when I want. I would only recommend to be cautious when choosing what resin you will The WOGOD low dust yellow resin I purchased was quite nice. While it works well, unfortunately I need to reinstall the software If you wish to resin the bow after every song, do so in between. It's a bit annoying, but it's not the bow's fault the resin is to blame. In terms of overall performance, I couldn't ask for a better bow at this price. A more expensive bow would probably cost.
Despite having greasy hair, a great bow is still achieved. Now that I have broken it in, I am very happy with this bow. It took about 5 minutes before the rosin caked the black hairs, and they turned a thunder cloud grey. This happens sometimes with new bows. A quick wipe with alcohol pads removed any oils that may have been on it (I suspect from the plastic bag). This bow is well balanced and responsive, and I intend to purchase it again. I would not only recommend it, but will also buy it.
The bow I have is beautiful and I really like it despite not being an advanced player. Bows with black horsehair would be nicer to see more of. As a result of how thin it is, I believe it requires a bit more tension than my other thicker carbon bow, so I might have to experiment with it until I get it to work better. The rest of the bow is good for the price and it is the only one on Amazon that looks like it. There is a nice texture to the leather grip, and it is made with real leather. This is a good book.
The bow is a decent choice for students looking to start out. I would say that it is pricey, but it's of good quality that should last a season or two of a student's is common with most bows, some of the strings did fray and/or fall out when used the first time. However, it did not seem to be too much of a concern since it has not frayed or fallen out since it was first used. Until such time as I feel it necessary to purchase a more expensive bow, I have been able to use this bow as a replacement.
A friend of mine ordered this for her son who plays viola. He has had it for about 3 months and I have not heard any complaints or requests for another one. I guess it sounds great as well, as he became first chair in his private music group.
It's hard to believe that such a quality bow is so affordable. The appearance of this bow is cleaner and better than other carbon fiber bows I have seen. It has very nice, neat and durable hairs that hold the rosin very It would not be a problem for me to purchase a bow like this.
This bow was purchased over the Labor Day holiday. March was the month that horse hair fell out! To rehair the bow I had to pay double what I paid for the bow when I bought it! An instrument maker friend of mine actually makes bows and instruments. Hair on the head just has to be glued in, according to him. I don't think this is a good idea!.
