It was previously available wrapped in wood or carbon fiber. It appears that only the wood is currently available. We have the wooden version, which was a letdown. The hair was fine and a little unkempt. I had previously purchased a model from this company. That was fine, but not this time.

I decided to go with the Brazil wood option. I was disappointed to discover that the poster tube and box in which it was shipped had been heavily crushed. The bow, on the other hand, appeared to be in good condition. However, two strands of hair had already come loose during the first performance, and another had fallen out during the second. It's still working well several months later, and I was pleased with it once the hiccups were resolved. However, I hope they are more careful with their pernambuco bows.
These bows make it easier to get things done. It has a professional bow-like quality to it. They're a hit with my daughter's teacher. In addition, the price was fair.
