I don't see why it shouldn't be possible. It shouldn't be a problem because the construction is similar to that of more expensive bows I've used on the violin and viola.

You can rely on them. In August of 2020, I purchased a DZ Strad cello bow after reading positive reviews from a variety of sources. The bow arrived, and it was a joy to play with because of its excellent quality and sound. The bow "popped" in the first week of November 2020, and the bow hair couldn't be tightened any longer. Although there was a 30-day return policy, Amazon provided me with contact information, which I used to contact D Z Strad. I worked with Barry and Conor, who were both extremely pleasant and helpful in explaining how humidity (or lack thereof, as is the case where I live) can cause bows to have this issue, and they promptly sent me a replacement bow. I was blown away by the sound and quality of the bow, but even more so by their dedication to providing exceptional customer service; vendors who care about their customers and stand behind their products are becoming increasingly rare. D Z Strad really knocked it out of the park with this one. You can count on them and their beautiful musical instruments to keep you as a customer for life. I'd like to buy one of their lovely cellos when I'm a lot more advanced (I started taking lessons at the age of 66).
Excellent craftsmanship. The frog is light, and the rest of the bow is balanced well. My child prefers to play with this bow because it has a muffled but warm and dark tone, as opposed to a $2000 bow that has a clear and open tone but is light in color. We use this bow for concertos and Bach solo suites on a daily basis after comparing it to very expensive bows that all had a heavy frog and were difficult to play for young players with small hands. This is a pleasant surprise, as I had already paid $150 for two other bows. Both the viola and the cello were in the 300 range from DZ, but they were unbalanced and had to be discarded. For the price and value it provides, this is a great deal!.
This was purchased to replace our son's bow, which had lost half of its hair. It's still in good shape and working well after several months.
Excellent service and prompt delivery.
Although I am not an expert, it appears to work well. My eight-year-old daughter prefers it to the one that came with her cello. She hasn't tried many bows (3 in total). Although the other two are likely half the price of this one, it is her favorite. The fact that she can play her cello on it is the most important feature. She believes she is better than the rest. The fact that she likes the way it looks is an added bonus. I don't know what else I could ask for. New strings, perhaps? Do you have any recommendations?.
3rd year student, very well packaged. Now it's easy to use and functions properly!.
