Selected User Reviews For Protec A228 Bass Bow Case, Black

It was a good investment
5/5

This is an excellent bow case. Very long lasting! It came with a flimsy strap, so I replaced it with an old bass case, which I wore over my existing shoulder strap. It does a fantastic job of protecting the bow! It protects it from the rain on rainy days. This item is extremely durable! Handles and an over-the-shoulder strap are included in this bag. It's been two years since I got it. I've traveled to Ireland, New York, Georgia, and California with this bow case on one of my tours. It made it through TSA with flying colors and was a pleasure to travel with.

It was better than I had anticipated
5/5

My 14-year-old son needed a protective carrying case when he took his bow "across the pond. " This situation was perfect. The case is well-made, durable enough to protect the bow while remaining lightweight enough not to detract from the review. Overall, I was very happy with the case.

The case for the bass bow is quite nice
5/5

This case was used by my son when he took his German bass bow on United Airlines. He had no issues bringing the bow on the plane as a carry-on item. on item. It was stowed away in the overhead compartment by him. The case was a perfect fit for his bow. He carried it all over Los Angeles and it arrived safely home. It is something that I would suggest.

This is a very appealing case
4/5

We just got this today, so I'm going to hold off on giving it the fifth star until we have more time to work on it. On first glance, this appears to be a well-constructed case with a five-year warranty. The bag is well padded, zippered, and has nice straps. It's a little tight around the head with this Johnson bow. My 12-year-old son is shown wearing it across his back in the photograph.

Excellent quality! This was purchased to replace a bow case that my daughter had
5/5

The first one stood up to a typical "abusive-to-the-point-of-being-abusive-to-the-point-of-being-abusive" scenario quite well their- For over 4 years, I've been a "belongings" adolescent girl. The case is extremely durable and of excellent quality. When it came time to replace it, I didn't hesitate to buy the exact same case. If you need a case to protect your bow, this is the one to get.

Bow Case that is satisfactory
4/5

Although this is a "soft" case, the construction appears to be quite solid, and it is well-made overall. made. I applied moderate pressure to the case's exterior and it did not cave in or break (I wasn't attempting to break it; of course, I wasn't attempting to break it). I'm sure it'd be crushed by a car, but my Bam violin case would be as well). Velvet- The interior is lined, and the bow compartment is just the right size for my violin. The adjustable strap, as well as the rosin pouch and the handles, appear to be of good quality. One issue is that there is no way to secure the bow on the inside-- there are no holders or straps- Which is fine because there isn't much room left, but I would have been less concerned about the bow being jostled if there had been something to keep it in place. Nonetheless, it's a satisfactory result overall.

It appeals to my tastes
5/5

It feels very sturdy for a "soft" case. The zipper is a little squeaky around the edges, but that's to be expected. Given the price of the cello and bow, I believe this case is a good value; it feels sturdy and heavy enough to transport anywhere while protecting the bow from damage, even though your bow would most likely be in the cello case if you really had to travel. The bow is no longer a concern for a cello that is kept on its stand with the cello case stored away.

Bow Case that is both attractive and affordable
5/5

I'd bought another bow case, which didn't even fit in my bass bag. The other case was similarly devoid of handles and appeared to be quite heavy. I'm pleased to report that this case is a perfect fit for my Finale German bow, fits nicely into both of my bass bags, has handles and a strap, is lighter weight, and effectively protects my bow. My purchase was a great success.
