Questions & Answers

Is there enough room in the back pocket for a binder?

My 10-year-old son uses this case, and he claims that his music book will not fit in this pocket, so he will have to store it with the cello. Bummer!

What is the case's length and width? The dimensions of 18 x 14 x 4 do not appear to fit a standard 4/4 cello. ?

My daughter plays a 3/4 cello, so I chose a 3/4 cello bag for her. It fit perfectly without sliding around because there was just enough room. If 4/4 is an option in the size selection, you should be fine. The bag is beautiful, but the bow does not fit completely in the side compartment, which is my only complaint. It protrudes about an inch or two from the top, just enough to prevent us from folding the velcro over to secure it. However, for the price, I am satisfied with my purchase.

Are there any cello endpin openings?

There are two zippers on both sides that open to accommodate the pin.

The end pin has a hole that isn't there

The end pin cannot be inserted because there is no hole. As a result, it's a tight fit, and I'm concerned that the fabric will wear through.

This appears to be effective for my elementary school-aged child. Much better than the flimsy bag we were given at the rental company. I like how it can be carried in a variety of ways.

I needed a new bag, so I went out and purchased one

To transport my cello to and from lessons, I purchased this bag. I already had a hard case, but I wanted something that was a little lighter. br>I had the bag for about two months when the zipper broke, trapping my cello inside. br>Money waist. I ended up spending more money on a new bag than I originally planned.

My old cello case was over 30 years old and falling apart; this isn't a hardcase, so it won't provide much protection, but if you're looking for something light, it might work.
