I'm not sure; my daughter's cello is a full size, and it fits into the case pretty tightly. Amazon has a return policy in place. I can attest to the fact that it is an excellent case.
It's not waterproof, but it won't soak up a lot of water. I can guarantee that your instrument will be protected from light rain, but I cannot guarantee that it will be protected from heavy rain!
about 21" wide by 52" long by 10" tall
Hi - Over the bridge, there is additional padding.

I already had a Bobelock hard case, but I wanted something that was a little lighter. The studio is in an older building, and I have to carry the cello upstairs, which is a narrow staircase. It gets the job done. It's a sturdy bag, but it's light enough for me to move my cello around in. br>I purchased another bag (from a different vendor) on Amazon, and the zipper broke after only two months. br>The bow sleeve has enough room for two bows, and there is one pocket where you can easily store rosin. Books and back straps can be stowed in a separate pocket. br>This is the one thing I'd like to see them change. The scroll/neck must be inserted into the bag. The zipper does not extend all the way to the top of the garment. br>Aside from that, I like how it looks. Stitches are very strong. If you're lucky, you'll be able to find the bags in other colors (besides black). It's possible that you'll have to look for something else. br>In any case, it's a fantastic product from a reputable company.
It's well-made, with thoughtful features and enough padding for safe transport. This case appeals to me on the whole. I have two suggestions for improvement: In the area where the cello's scroll is encased, there is a rigid tunnel of reinforcement. When worn as a backpack, the case sits high above the user's head, making it vulnerable to being knocked. I found a rigid square Tupperware piece and cut the bottom off so that when shoved up the top end of the cello bag, it formed a rigid enclosure around the scroll while still allowing the cello to fit comfortably within the case. Another problem: br>br> The endpin of my cello just fits inside this case's length. I wish the case was an inch longer so that the zipper completely covers the endpin and isn't divided at the bottom in a two-part design. Instead of being designed as one continuous zipper, there is a gap at the bottom for the endpin' protrusion (if necessary, depending on the length of the cello).
, This case fulfills that need admirably and at a reasonable price. br>br>The string instrument store where we bought the cello sells a similar bag for more than three times the price of this bag. Granted, that bag was made in the United States and likely had a more durable exterior, but I couldn't justify spending nearly a third of the instrument's price on a case. br>br>I can attest to the quality and durability of Bobelock bags because this is our second purchase. The first was for my son's 3/4 size cello (he recently upgraded to a 4/4), and it still looks brand new after over a year of daily commutes (and middle school hallways); the second was for my daughter's 3/4 size cello (she recently upgraded to a 4/4), and it still looks brand new after over a year of daily commutes (and middle school hallways); the third was for my daughter But, most importantly, his instrument appears to be brand new! br>br>I would strongly suggest this bag to a student cellist. It, in my opinion, provides adequate protection from the elements as well as the minor bumps it will encounter on a typical commute and during a school day. day.
I saw this exact model at one of my orchestra practices, and I had to ask the lady who had it where she got it from, and while she didn't get it from Amazon, I decided to look and found an even better deal here! The bag is extremely padded but not overly so, and it provides a great deal of cushion for the bridge and neck, which none of the other bags did. The material is of excellent quality, and even from a distance, you can tell that this is not your average bag. The straps are also extremely comfortable. I prefer to wear it with just one shoulder strap because it feels more natural. The bow sleeve is made of the same material as the bow and provides excellent protection. I am very pleased with my purchase and would strongly advise others to do so. This is not a cheap bag, but you get what you pay for, so the extra money spent is well worth it. GET IT!.
This is the best cello bag on the market. This bag is available in music stores along with cellos - However, this is a fantastic value; it has excellent padding and relieves parents' concerns about the cello being damaged without the need to purchase an expensive hard case.
a trustworthy firm A tough case isn't always the best option.
This is a fantastic case! I bought this to replace my old Mooradian bag, and it's a big improvement. Excellent backpack straps and two bow sleeves, as well as a standard shoulder strap and handles for carrying the cello in tight spaces. It's a lot more convenient than carrying my hard shell case around.
It appeals to my tastes. That's exactly what I've been looking for!.
