What kind of substance is it?

It's made out of fiberglass. My daughter is a middle school orchestra teacher as well as a musician. She uses this case to transport her instruments to different gigs.

I intend to store my cello in a public storage facility and would like to keep the case locked. In some cases, one of the buckles can be locked. Is this one a possibility?

You can't lock the door on anything. I don't see any space to put a lock on because all of the buckles are so small. The case, on the other hand, is something I really like. My 14-year-old son uses it every day for school orchestra, so it's pretty durable!

Good value for money, but keep an eye out for scratches

This is an excellent lightweight case at an affordable price. My only gripe is that when the case is closed, the bow can scratch the cello. When my cello was in the case, I simply covered it with an old tshirt. I like the color, and the case suits me well.

So far, everything has gone well

So far, everything has gone well. My son hasn't taken it to school yet, so we're not sure how well it'll hold up during busy orchestra days. But he's ecstatic about it and couldn't wait to get it for Christmas. It has a nice color.

Case for cellos that is light and airy

It appears that the hardware is a little flimsy. The case needed to be aired out at home because it had a strong plastic odor. The case, on the other hand, appeared to be in good condition and will be adequate for storing and transporting our student's cello.
