Questions & Answers

There is a white Yamaha DGX-150 on its way to me I would like to get a white 650. How do I get the white color?

There is a mistake in the model number LP7AWH & You can find it by looking up the UPC number Andy's Music at its Best

Do you see a pure white or gray color here? What does the reviewer mean when he says it's grey instead of ?

There's nothing else but pure white in it.

What is the difference between an LP7A and an Would it be possible to get one for a YPG 635 keyboard?

This is the best answer you can find on the web. It's a Yamaha. Visit .com to learn more about digital pianos. This is the manufacturer's LP7A for DGS-line sound. It has a "A" for The LP7 is an DGX 540 (discontinued) and not an Acoustic or Hammer. The YPG series is different from the mach series. The YPG series has sustain pedals that are developed specifically for this series. You can reach Yamaha by phone or visit Sam- You can find guitar center or Ash at any music store. As the LP7AWH signifies, it is the L (SERIES) P (piano) A (acoustic) W (with) and H (hammer)

Are there any issues with using this ?

I believe this part is an add on to It is possible to remove 4 rubber caps of the DGX660 stand so you can expose screw holes on the bottom for inserting this pedal unit. I was able to align my unit properly. It was necessary to loosen the screw on the stand first to allow this to slide Furthermore, the pedal unit is equipped with clips that attach to the back of the stand to conceal the cord out of sight.

I am very pleased with the results A DGX 640-based system can be used Get a 660 if you don't have one already
5/5

Yes, I agree! The pedal that comes with the piano is way too lightweight, doesn't work like a regular pedal, and is annoying (it flips over if you're not careful. It can't do the things that the other two pedals do). The three-part series is intended to provide you This pedal unit is very easy to attach and does all the things we are used to on a regular piano. I have the DGX-100. Yamaha's quality is sacred to me, so I got a used 640 (and it works great), and the unit functions beautifully. There is one thing I would like In Yamaha's product line, the three-dimensional design should be considered The DGX 640, 650, and 660 pedal units are mounted as digital models. There are 88 keys on those instruments, and they come with a lot of digital controls. They're not designed to easily be carried around (not like an instrument you'd tote around and unpack for a gig). The phenomenon stands to reason that even a novice pianist (or even an inexperienced pianist The coughing continues! A traditional pedal configuration would be desired by *). It consists of a single component It is difficult to use the pedal attachment that comes with the DGX, and it is Yamaha could indeed include that for pianists who carry the piano to performances, however playing the piano has a lot more to do than just the pedal(s). They should be a reflection of the quality of the.

An improved digital piano
4/5

We bought a Yamaha DGX-800 a few months back, and we have been very pleased with the instrument. The 660 digital piano was given as a gift to the family. Despite the high quality of the piano I am very impressed, but I wasn't thrilled with the sustain pedal included, which is small and easily slide out of under my foot. In order to make the upgrade, I decided to purchase a 3-D printer It consists of a pedal. There is a lot of good to be found Getting it up and running was easy. This board can be assembled, installed and ready to use in less than five minutes and only a Philips screwdriver is needed for installation. This board is in a good way quite solid and heavy. It was a bit flimsy I was worried it would break easily The truth is that it isn't. The sustain pedal works as you would expect it to on a "real" piano. The sustain and sostenuto pedals work exactly as they do on a "real" piano. The soft pedal, however, is somewhat more subtle than you would expect on a Last but not least, and this is something I hadn't considered, is that the appearance of the unit is much improved with the pedal board. It looked rather empty before now, it seems more complete, not that this matters in terms of functionality, but it seems more complete on the outside. There are some negative aspects There's only one problem I'm having with this device In addition to being heavy, the pedals are wide. It could be due to the fact that I am only used to playing keyboards with cheap, plastic sustain pedals and old uprights that have been broken in over years, but these pedals Although I don't have trouble, it took my daughter a few days to adjust to the new change.

Otherwise, I highly recommend the I think it's a good idea I love the way it is built, it looks great, it works great, and it.

I like the pedals, but they are grey instead of black! Though my pedals work fine, I am not sure if they will last long
3/5

I wish they were made of metal instead of plastic as the M-sized ones are. These pedals control the sound of your music. I am disappointed in the color of the unit, since I ordered it for a DGX660B, which is allegedly compatible with it. There is a problem though, the bar is dark gray rather than black, so it doesn't look right with the piano. I'm not sure if this is a stylistic thing, but the color is not clearly stated anywhere. I don't have much of a choice and since it is on the floor, it isn't a deal breaker.

It's a great addition for people who want to play piano in a more realistic way
5/5

I have found the perfect addition to make my Yamaha DGX even better The project is 650 percent Having read reviews about how cheap it feels, I have to admit that I don't agree. While it's not made of bronze or brass like the case of an acoustic piano, it feels very substantial and robust as opposed to Install it correctly, but if there is any give in it once you have it installed, simply place some material under it in order to make it feel more solid Due to the piano's position at the edge of the carpet, I needed to put a piece of wood under the pedal unit, so that I felt more secure when I used it. Nevertheless, now that it has been braced, it works almost like the 3 pedals on the most acoustic pianos, giving the piano more expression than the sustain pedal that comes from the box.

This is superior to the mini pedal that comes with the Yamaha DGX660
4/5

Since I wasn't thrilled with the mini pedal that came with my keyboard, I'm glad I purchased this one instead. I gave it 4 stars because it should be black instead of grey and it is a little Since the spring is so strong, I have been getting cramps in my leg when I play for quite a while. On the whole, I am glad that Yamaha offers this for my keyboard and I am happy with what I bought.

The product works great, and it's a breeze to use
4/5

I found this to be a very easy adjustment to install, and it makes the piano stand It is smooth to operate the pedals and they are functioning exactly as they should. The cord going from the pedals to the keyboard is long enough that it can be connected all the way along the side of the pedal assembly etc to the plug. It will mostly be hidden out of sight this way. There is a similar spacing between the pedals and the piano pedals, so you will feel very comfortable to use it. When installing, make sure to read the instructions carefully, or it may not work as well as it could. It's not as difficult as you might think.

With this pedal, I can play piano as if I had a real piano
5/5

I purchased it to upgrade from the foot pedals that came with my Yamaha keyboard since the standard single pedals were never able to stay where I wanted them. My life was made extremely difficult by always having to place the information wherever I needed it. It made a tremendous difference and I could not believe it. Then I bought the keyboard pedals that mounted on my keyboard stand and they made a huge difference. Using the keyboard is like playing the piano, with no foot pedal to fumble with any more.
