Roland RPU-3 Electronic Keyboard Pedal or Footswitch, 3 Pedal

It was recommended to me by Roland and I got an Apparently a fourth pedal is going to arrive soon - it'll be on the 88 keyboard! It is between Then there are four active pedals to assign to these four in Pianoteq, as well as a ton of optional pedals. There is no third pedal jack, so I wish there was one, but this unit takes up all of the three available jacks, and the other three can't be used for anything else There are only a few pedal units available on the market One of the three is a continuous input pedal with the remaining two being off switches. This seems to be a good idea.

This cable has great performance, is simple to install, and is durable enough to last for many years. Together, they make a great set I purchased both products in 2000 and have been pleased with them both. Additionally, I also purchased the firefly page turner and I have it to the left of this one. All of these pieces work well together on my iPad. It was true that I had to purchase an orchestra stand to place the iPad on as the RD2000 does not have a place for sheet music, but I actually like the fact that I am able to adjust the height of the iPad with the stand apart from the keyboard. It's great that Roland makes such great products. I have an amp as well.

Unlike the pedals on an acoustic piano, this pedal feels nice to use and offers great gradient control. Because the gradient is so responsive, you can feather the release for more control over this pedal's sustain. This product has rubber feet at the bottom that hold it in place and prevent it from sliding. In general, it's a nice pedal, and it's a great improvement over the stock pedals that come.

Roland is the way to go if you need 3 pedals when on the road. If you need a floor unit that isn't attached, I find this Roland unit to be perfect. The unit is well built This is nothing to do with cheap. When combined with anti-wrinkle measures If you're installing it on carpet or hardwood, no problems, since the skid pads keep it in place. Lastly, I checked Yamaha for their 3 pedals, but theirs only come with furniture stands if you want to be mobile, Roland's portable 3 pedal unit is the answer.

I like how it has a solid feel to it and the fact that it doesn't float around the floor while I use Only this pedal, since it is on sale now (Fall 2011), has three outputs that plug directly into the three pedal inputs of the Fatar VMK keyboard. Only problem is it is not directly compatible with Fatar VMK keyboard either way, there is a fix The three options to use with Plogue Bidule are 1) download a free copy of the software, 2) change the filter control (CC) from 0 to 126, and 3) make use of the Korg Bidule output to connect to your computer's It adds about 2 milliseconds of delay to my Macbook using the Plogue Bidule filter This is not really noticeable at all. Furthermore, I tried filtering with Pure Data, but it added about 20 msec to the time. You're going to have a great time!.

It's a good pedal, it works and feels good. It would likely feel much better and take less effort to walk around if it added a few pounds to the weight. Nevertheless, this issue is easily resolved so it does not pose a huge problem.
