Questions & Answers

This switch can you use to turn your recording on and off?

The device to which the NP-connector is attached is what determines the results It is connected to 1. This report can be found at Momentary footswitch 1 (used as a sustain pedal in standard DJ gear) can be used to activate recording in a DAW by connecting it to the footswitch input on the Panorama P1. This report can be found at With 1 you can move a momentary footswitch with any device that has a matching input.

How does this compare to the RC setup of my boss How many loops are there in a 30 second cycle?

As of yet, I have not tested the RC The device expects a 3.3V supply, but it doesn't appreciate a non-3.3V supply So it should work, since it has a latching (momentary) footswitch.

What do you think of this sustain pedal working with the ?

This pedal is compatible with Roland, Yamaha, and Casio as far as I'm concerned. It has a 1/4 Jack input and the same outputs as any midi keyboard. I reviewed the schematics on the Williams Alegro keyboard recently and it has the same outputs as any midi keyboard. Okay, so I agree. You are in my best wishes.

By default, I want the circuit to be closed ("on") when not pressing the switch, and to be open ("off") only when I press it. When will the NPF be implemented Would you please do this for me?

It's possible to switch between normally open and normally closed mode using the switch next to the cable on the back of the pedal.

Selected User Reviews For Nektar NP-1 Metal Foot Switch/Sustain Pedal, 3.07 x 1.77 x 6.81 inches

The Nektar NP-800 The number 1 and These pedals are great! It's not a big deal if you don't The NP-1000 was the first camera I bought In addition to the Alesis VI sustain pedal, I needed a sustain pedal for my I like it, but find it to be a bit light and prone to sliding
5/5

In my opinion, it is best in this role of ON/OFF switch and not something Furthermore, it takes some effort to press down, so I had to use my ball of the foot rather than my toes to push down. However, the construction and quality of Nektar are solid, so I'm confident in their performance. This report can be found at The 1 doesn't serve much of a purpose right now in my setup, but I'll keep it around in case something breaks. NP-250, so I went ahead and picked it up an amazing pedal that's simple and easy to use. I can use it even on the short pile rug underneath my desk because it's heavy and stays in place. The bottom is covered in rubber pads that are durable and easy to clean. It has only been 24 hours since I got it, so I can't speak to its lifespan yet, but my first impression is that it should last a long time, and it's only $20. I'll just get a new one if it breaks. A big NP- (The big NP- NP-T2 has a polarity switch, which is operated by the little NP-C In 1 there is a lack. Although I can get the little pedal to "work" as a sustain pedal, I have to power up my keyboard in a specific manner to achieve It takes out that little headache, and you can play and shop on the switch without having to go through a computer It is best to have as few headaches as possible when creating music! )

As for price, please do yourself this Just grab the NP-W or NP-S until you really need a tiny pedal Replace the NP- with 2 Although you will have to pay five bucks more, you will get ten times the quality and functionality. You can also get both and return the one you don't like! (NOTE UNRELATED TO THIS)

The best alternative to the You can use an audio pedal to play music

I've never used a sustain pedal as durable as this one. As a company, we are This pedal is more popular on Amazon, but has issues with reliability (small screws often come loose, requiring the entire bottom plate to be removed and one or more internal screws to be reseated and tightened and the spring to be carefully reset, As a result, he Many times during my performances, I have had an audio pedal fail or partially fail on me. No matter what the situation may be, I have never had a problem with this pedal during a gig or.

Not happy with the outcome Many of the reviews I've read about this pedal were positive
3/5

In the month of February, something happened. just bought it, and it crashed on me just a few minutes ago. It is too difficult to crap on it because it is too resistant when you press down on it. Now that I will be without a pedal, I will not be able to have a rehearsal later today. I thank you from the bottom of my heart, Having your 88 key controller, which is a nice product, and making the purchase on the basis of that was also a good decision. The pedal is now missing, so I'm stuck. It is impossible for me to pick up another one at my local store as the nearest store is over 50 miles away, so I would have to walk a long way to get it. Thus, people should be cautious about buying this product. This is a thing you may want to buy twice, or you can find another manufacturer who will sell you something that will last. There should be some warranty with the What is metal? The inside is probably made of plastic.

We are all in good shape
5/5

Piano was my primary instrument growing up, and I have played on and off ever since. The early 1990s were the first time I experimented with electronic keyboards, but I used one of those clicky foot switches This is my first time using the Roland RD-100 The Nektar is the answer to that need. I started out with a 700 stage piano, and wanted to switch to a real pedal this time. I like the sound it produces and how it feels like a piano pedal. While that should be enough, I'd like to take a moment to compliment This is a 2 on a few things that could cause issues.

I disagree with the reviewer who said that it would not work on There is carpet in my living room it was installed recently. In fact, it is rather thick This concerned me, and I was worried. It wasn't necessary for me to worry. As far as my carpet is concerned, it works just fine. This system includes a polarity switch, which is a big plus. A version of this article refers to In spite of what I expected, the polarity of 700 is the opposite of what I thought. The old clicky footswitch actually gave the impression that it was sustain as opposed to click I had the sustain without the pedal, and I pressed the pedal and the sustain was dropped. I could not fix it with that pedal, but it was routine and easy with the Nektar. You can simply flip the switch built into the wall. I am not qualified to comment on the Not enough time has passed since I bought this. Fortunately, it will stay in my living room home studio, so I shouldn't have any problems with it. I don't perform with it on tours or out in the open air. This device will be able to fail only if its durability is poor. BTW, I have two of these. One of my sons has the latter and his children, or grandkids, are learning piano on a Yamaha electronic piano. Due to their age, it better be strong. )

Absolutely satisfied.

I would use something else on rugs, since the rug is so slippery
3/5

One of those I got had a completely smooth, slippery surface when in contact with the floor, so that it moved all over the place quite a bit. From the factory, it may have lacked something. Putting furniture pads on mine did not seem to make much of a difference. Moreover, it's impossible to use this thing on carpets that are even very thin, as it tends to press down quite a lot into the carpet before contact is made. The foot position is very sensitive, as there is only a rather small area centered on and adjacent to the cable. These movements cause nothing to happen if the foot moves slightly left or right. As such, I recommend that you pass this one up and try instead a sustain pedal type with a classic piano-style lever, of which there are a number of good models to choose from. Get one that has some weight to it and a nice large There isn't much reason for you to spend any money on this NP The first conditions are if size is of the utmost importance. If you are on the road, that may be true. Smaller, but still reasonably well built, and slipper, as well as rug issue, it is considerably smaller than piano-lever style pedals.
