Questions & Answers

Do you know if this works with a product like Mobius from Strymon?

As Strymon suggests on the Mobius FAQ, this is very cost-effective. In addition, Roland EV-36 was listed It also contains a Mission Engineering EP-5 Since I just bought it for my Mobius, I do not know how it will perform.

Do you know if this will work with Zoom B3?

As the guitar equivalent of the Zoom G3, I used it with that. As long as an expression pedal can be used with the B3, I don't see why it wouldn't work.

In addition to the ep 2, where it seems to be very weak when used with a dsi pro 2, I have an eP 3 as well. Compared to the old pedal, how does this one differ as far as its internal circuitry is concerned?

As a result of the As far as I can tell, 3 uses the same potentiometer specifications, but it appears to be built better. * The EP is a It shouldn't be possible to lower the output when 2 is in the

You must not forget to flip the magic switch on the bottom of the pedal to switch between standard and other pedals
5/5

The RP150 served as a companion to an old digital effects pedal I had. A 'Control In' jack is available on the RP150. The wah effects and other features on this are what I wanted to use. My first reaction was to think that it didn't work at all! Despite my best efforts, I was disappointed. My attention was then drawn to the switch beneath the pedal. What does the phrase "Standard / Other" It was not clear to me, however, I can tell you that it worked as soon as I flipped the switch to OTHER! Hence, check out the switch on the underside of the pedal if it does not work right away.

Is useless and irreparable now after being perfect
3/5

You can feel the quality of the construction as you wear it. The breast looked a lot beefier in person than it did in the picture. I like the way it controls my wah pedal. I think the investment was a good one. Edit

The potentiometer on the pedal had gone bad a few months earlier, so the pedal moves with a warbly sound. I noticed a little jumping in the value when I reached the toe down position, so it is not a scratchy pot that can be easily fixed by cleansing. The replacement pot was outside the return window, but I figured it would be easy to replace. To cut a long story short, the pedal uses a special type of pot designed for reduced rotation, which I have never seen before and have no idea where to find. Wah pots are not as common as they used to be. Thus, the pot is essentially not reliable, and it also cannot be replaced.

You should be aware of the expression curves on your controller for your keyboard
5/5

My Roland VR-2000 keyboard is equipped with an expression pedal. I've been in the process of trying to find one that would work with it Shortly, I have also experienced the same issue that many of you have, which is that the pedal seems to never go to zero volume when fully pressed, and in some cases, the pedal also does not even go My issue was resolved after I tried three different pedals made by three different manufacturers. My own trial and error failed, so I consulted Roland's "reference" manual which you can acquire online and found that the Roland VR-65 can only be hooked up to a Roland VR-65. During the development of Expression Curves 730, four curves were In the manual for the unit, I noticed that out of the four curves you can choose, none go to zero and one does what you might expect a "volume" control to do (smooth up and down adjustment). In the case of the other three, for the first third and last third of the travel, there isn't a noticeable difference, as the programmed curve is designed this way. Thus, in conclusion, I believe the pedals to be fine, and the software expression curve on the keyboard is what creates the perceived problem. It's my hope that this helps with at least some of your issues. I'm off to Roland now to see if the curves in my keyboard can be improved. The program functions! Despite trying other pedals, myself and my friends decided to keep the Moog pedal since it felt better than the others.

The build quality is poor and the sound is choppy
3/5

I have used it for a week, and I can say it is completely It tracks better than a Digitech whammy pedal for controlling an EH pitchfork, although the Digitech does have better audio quality. Despite the pitchfork's flawless performance, this expression pedal can only be used for a fast glissando or a large step down bend Because I am a huge phish head the down bends are what I usually use it for, but I still like to be able to set the pedal for longer intervals so I can do slides that sound (ie slow) glissandi as well. The expression pedal is very choppy if you shift more than a fifth with it. Trying to shift it up or down by a whole octave will not work Although slow pedal movements are difficult due to how loose the action is, it cuts out no matter how slowly you move it. The pedal does not work well for pitch shifting, even when it has a good cable. It's important to remember that Moog is supposed to be a high-end brand. This is simply a cheap plastic device. It is not something Bob Moog would approve of if he were still alive. Standing in front of the pedal for a long period of time is uncomfortable due to its height. The design, sound, and ergonomics of this device all score poorly. A Mission EP-07 was ordered by me You need 1 in place of this cheap piece of trash. In the event that the new pedal does not arrive, I will return this one. If you need to control modulation effects like rotary, vibe, or chorus then this pedal may be a good choice. I might have used it if the expression input on my DD7 controlled feedback instead of volume, but I never make any adjustments to delay volume while recording. In my opinion, this is a useful pedal, but not a good choice for pitch shifting or wah, since the pedal operates poorly.

If you don't need secondary functionality like a volume pedal or wah or are not concerned about having a fancy, $200 piece of fine craftsmanship on your board to attract Instagram followers, then it is a good choice
5/5

Due to the fact that I have only used it at home, I cannot judge its quality). Features a polarity switch and a calibration knob on the side of the unit to ensure that it is compatible with any Added to this, a decent (and quite long) 1/4" cable is included. If you don't need secondary functionality like a volume pedal or wah or are not concerned about having a fancy, $200 piece of fine craftsmanship on your board to attract Instagram followers, then it is a good choice.

A great pedal to add to modelers and effects units
5/5

It was a bit unnerving to order this book in spite of Today, you can never be sure of what will happen. I've been impressed after I received it and gave it a test drive over my AxeFx II+ and MFC101. Constructed of metal of superior strength and quality. An average Cry Baby food pad is slightly shorter than the Boss EV, but substantially longer than an average Boss EV It is a very long path of travel. There is no stiffness in the pedal action/tension, but it stays right where you left it so continuous adjustments are possible. If you want to tighten it by using the bolt on the side then you should be able to do so I find the mounting of the pedalboard to be a good fit for the pedal back. The placement of the plug at the top of the pedal makes me wish they had included a right angle plug on at least one side, but obviously that wouldn't be a big deal. It's the same model as the one I use as an expression pedal for wah, but I might end up replacing it anyhow. This is an incredibly valuable resource.

This is an awesome pedal, but it is a bit like a house
5/5

Since I have been using this pedal for a little less than a year, I can say it is extremely reliable. To control the resonance of my Moogerfooger envelope filter pedal, I use this device. There is a great deal of plastic in it, but it is very over-filled An engineered solution. There's only one thing I don't like about the place If Moog made one half the size and the same quality with the same features, I'd be very happy. The mini pedal market does not seem to be well served. It would have been too large to fit on my board, so I wouldn't have bought a second one.
