I love the foot switch - it's great! It's also a great deal considering what it costs. This switch is made of metal, has great geometry, and is tactile. However, when the switch is activated, it makes a loud 'click'. Although it would be ok for use in a loud environment, for personal use at home it is rather annoying.

I'm sorry you feel the way you do. Other than that, this pedal is great.

A CLICKING SOUND CAN BE HEARD when the small version is pressed

It has been noted in other reviews that the device is well built, but when pressed it makes a loud audible click. Since I am mostly playing with headphones, it would probably be best to look for something else if you are looking to use this in a headphone environment instead.

The switch I ordered was the wrong model, but it works in the end

In the beginning, I thought I needed a momentary switch on my midi controller, but in the end, I needed a push-on switch A push off type of push off. If it was offered as a PO-only item, this would seem to be a solid unit in its own metal case For this type of PO, I would be happy to have It's of excellent quality and a good price, so I'll keep it and find a good home for.
