Hello Paula, *br> The term "B3 Speaker" is too generic for us to be able to provide you with an accurate response. We would need to know the specific model of the organ or speaker in order to determine the type of tubes needed. I'd like to thank Jessica Lynne at ToneWheel General Hospital for sharing this story with me.
Selected User Reviews For Leslie 147 Tube Set
My first thought was bad connections, but that was before I decided to purchase the tube set Tonewheel had assembled specifically for this It turns out it was the tubes that were the problem While the hum in the signal is inevitable due to the inherent design of the model 145/147, their replacement really cut it back to acceptable levels. It is good to report that the new tubes sound great! The power tubes are Sovtec, and the preamp is RCA (I think). As a result, a clear tone is produced, but a little low in pitch There's a bit of muddiness in the end, but nothing excessive, and this has inspired me to keep the Leslie hooked into my guitar signal chain all the time for a nice full-range sound My primary amp is a vintage Fender Quad Reverb, which makes for a rich, round sounding mix. As I spoke with the folks at Tonewheel General Hospital, they seemed like really nice people who wanted to please their patients. The Tonewheel General Hospital team has provided me with excellent support for my old Leslie and I'm looking forward to further business with them to keep it running for a long time. Thank you so much, Rick and Lisa!.
I just received my replacement tubes in my Leslie speaker and they are doing their job. The old ones were easy to replace without a hitch, I had no idea I could do it!.
I was amazed at how well this worked! Shipping was done on time!.
