It measures 7 inches from top to bottom on the inside. I have an inside length of 16 inches and 3 inches There are four quarter inches in one inch. I found it to be 16 1/2 inches wide on the inside.

Case for a keyboard that feels solid.

I haven't traveled with it yet, but I have no doubt it will withstand the rigors of airline travel. My only concern is that the keyboard is not inside, making it fairly bulky in comparison to Generally, this will make travel more difficult for the traveler but it will make the airline's face light up when they charge you for an over-sized or overweight.

For the price, this is an excellent case

I have a 49-key synth which I consider to be very nice. There is no better case for it than this one. The fit is nice and snug after taking out some of the shaped padding. In the lid of the case, there is enough padding to keep it from moving, but I need to experiment with it.
