Despite being described as new, they arrived in good condition. The ones I bought were great and I would suggest them. Nevertheless, I did make a couple of minor modifications to them in order to make them more comfortable. 1) I replaced the buckle on the back belt with a little clip to make it easier to put it on and take it You will need someone else to remove the belt-style buckle from behind your back because it is difficult to remove by yourself. What more could I ask for, it was well made, fit the description on Amazon and arrived when promised. Soft material on the straps ensures that my clothes do not slip or move out of place while playing the accordion. Playing the accordion is more comfortable and easier when wearing them. It must be noted, however, that I only use one strap at a time. I shortened up the main adjustment as far as it would go because of the width of the right strap bothering my neck , so I lengthened out the upper loop strap all the way, took a leather punch, and shortened up the right strap. To tighten up the bottom loop strap, I tightened it to the maximum amount possible I put an extra hole in both of them. I was able to relieve my neck pain that way. Despite the poor quality of making, it was of excellent quality. As a result, my 120 bass is smaller than most, and I measured it before ordering to ensure it would fit me.
I have found the shoulder and back straps to be nice and wide so I can hold my accordion steady as I play. This is a very good product that I highly recommend.
I had a hole where a rivet fell from my black straps The repair was made with a small bolt, washer, and a black acrylic paint finish to cover up the original. During the process of securing the excess strap, I discovered that the straps were not long enough on the longest setting to allow for the flap of leather to be firmly secured. It would have been best for me not to have purchased them if I had seen them beforehand. Rather than return them, I repaired them since it was more convenient.
