She chose this as a Christmas gift for her dad, who is an active musician and guitarist. It was a big hit with him. Despite its sturdy design, it is also well built. It was bought for him to wear on a necklace with a pickband. We wiggled it in there and it stayed, despite the fact that it didn't exactly fit. It's so sweet of you to give this As a Christmas gift this year, my brother gave this to my dad and he was thrilled to get it. One for my dad and one for my kid, etc. Comes with two for my dad and one for my kid. One of the sweetest and yet simplest gifts of all time, I believe. I like the design and the idea is great. In addition to being thick, the picks are also thick.
