In my case, I have an all mahogany Les Paul (I think custom's are also Since over a year now, I've had ) on mine. I haven't had a problem with the hanger holding the guitar, even though it's pretty heavy. The hanger must be attached to a stud if you want to trust it. There are now four of them, and all of them are mounted
Yes, it is. There is actually a version for heavier bass guitars that I have. It is fine to use the drywall anchors that come with the kit.
You've got plenty of room for acoustics. I find that my acoustics tend to hang down with the backs of the bottoms hanging a bit forward, so they don't hang all the way The weight has to be balanced somehow (it has to be something to do with that). I have the bumper but my acoustics don't even touch them when they are mounted on the wall. You could also get the bumper accessory sold by string swing, or stick a piece of rubber/foam behind the guitar on the wall if you are concerned.

To help me keep my guitars off the floor (on stands, of course), my wife gave me one of these as a gift. My home is decorated with 3 extras I ordered after I liked them so much. There is a picture of them on the wall of the office. During installation This is a super easy install, you only need a few tools to complete it, at the least a screwdriver, at the worst a little In order to be on the safe side, I went directly into a stud for my PRS electric guitar so that weight at a later time wouldn't be an issue. My current guitars are an Ibanez AE18 Acoustic Electric and an Ovation full body acoustic, both of which are built to be heavy. My swing only needed the drywall anchors that are provided with it, and they are very stable and rock solid. The weight of my Yamaha classical guitar did not concern me much since it is so light. My method of hanging and removing the guitars is cautiously, so I do not put too much pressure on the wall, not with kit gloves, but just with caution and awareness. The following hangers These hangers (arms/hooks) are a good size and accommodate all the heads of the guitars I use. Their soft padding is similar to that of a guitar stand neck holder. The angle makes it possible Guitarists who are familiar with classical music are the only exceptions. The neck of a Classical guitar is wider than a typical guitar, so I enter the guitar laying sideways into the hanger, then turn the guitar so it lies It's not quite as simple as lifting a guitar out or just dropping it in, because there's no concern for damage to the guitar. As soon as you get the hang of it (once or twice), it will be easy. All in all, I'm extremely pleased with these stands, as they are an affordable, practical solution to a problem that I have encountered frequently with Note One thing to keep in mind On the wall there is a section where I initially intended to hang four guitars. I tested a guitar and measured the hanger for the next one while installing the hangers. In taking into account the negative space between guitars, I realized I couldn't fit four guitars in the space because of my measurement mistake, and for it to look good I had to go back and measure the space again. Whenever installing multiple guitars, it is strongly recommended that you hang the guitars after each swing installation so that you can see exactly what things will look like.
Although I used different hardware than that provided, I was still able to complete the mission. A pair of 1/8" 2" long toggle bolts worked well. Weight is no match for them, and they provide a far greater level of security than plastic ever could. No matter what you do, the toggle bolts will provide more security. It would have been risky for me to risk any of my guitars falling, so I went with toggle bolts instead. There is a lot of metal backing here! Honestly, this is one of my favorite things. In the event of a need for another, I would buy one. I give you 5 stars!.
Of course I ordered a third one when I needed one. I am not sure if that is the same model as the earlier one or if it is just a new I own several similar ones and this one seems just as durable as the others. I'm not sure how well they work, but the older ones feature fat rubber washers at the ends of the hangar to help keep the guitar in place. I have never had an issue with those hangars and I do not anticipate any in the future. *NB* DO NOT use the drywall anchors that are provided A drywall anchor is NOT a good place to hang an expensive instrument. You don't need to worry about it if you are drilling into a stud.
I have about 30 of these and would never consider any other brand or style. Even though they make occasional changes to their design, they are consistently the best hangers on the market today. My guitars have never dropped, and my headstocks haven't stuck. I've had some of these for years without a problem. You can't ask for more than that, can you?.
The only alternative I can think of would be a better one. My only experience with other products for hanging guitars is that I have not tried any other alternatives yet, but I really like the ones I have and doubt there is anything The same kind had already been purchased by me before, so I didn't hesitate to buy more when the need came up. In this case, I hung solid body electrics, but I did have a couple of acoustics that also needed to be hung. They can either be anchored to the drywall or they can be mounted to the wall studs. Therefore, I developed the stud option for all guitars, knowing it will be able to handle any normal guitar weight without any issue. Whenever the guitar is in the cradle for the headstock, it's extra secure because the curve makes the headstock curled up like that. It is important to keep electrics, especially those with strat-based armor, safe using hanger cradles that rotate Headstocks with a vertical style, that are well balanced. These hangers are very easy to install. I was able to free up a lot of floor space in a very small music room by getting the guitars off the floor. I'm sure you'll love the decor of your music room if you're a fan of the way your guitars look. After they are hung high, they come tumbling down.
I appreciate the quality of this hanger, which works well with my dreadnought acoustic guitar. This guitar stands out much better on the wall in this hanger than it did on a floor stand. It is now safe As for the screws, I gave it 4/5 stars because they appear to be about a #2 size. Although they could be driven into a stud, I left the screws out because I wouldn't trust them to hold the guitar strap, let alone the actual guitar. Considering this is a piece of hardware specifically created and marketed to hold a potentially very expensive and somewhat delicate musical instrument, you could have expected that mounting hardware was included instead of a disclaimer relieving them from any damage caused after the instrument is mounted.
These hangers made it easy for me to create this wooden piece for my husband. They took no time at all to screw into the wood. For these to go in the board, I had to get shorter screws because the ones that come with the package are for going directly in to a wall. They came with drywall anchors, but I did have to buy shorter screws. They are extremely useful and I highly recommend them!.
They are well engineered and well built. This guitar stand has forks that can adjust to hold guitars with wide ranges of head shapes it's very useful. By way of example, you may want to adjust or slightly bend the forks so that it fits a Fender or Gibson headplate. The electrics are strong and can easily hold the weight of the heaviest solid body. There is a soft tubing surrounding the forks that grips the guitar gently and leaves no marks on its narrow neck. It must be noted that on my recent 5 unit order, the gold logo was black on black, so it didn't stand out This is a highly recommended book (which I personally prefer).
