Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use these for electric skateboarding?

I'd like to let you know that this hook has the capacity to carry a 20kg load after it has been installed properly. As long as your skateboard does not exceed this weight and its size can fit in, you may use it to store

Despite having a wide neck, I play classical guitar very well. Am I able to bend the rods to fit a wider ?

They are pretty sturdy, so I do not believe that they are fragile.

What are the risks of nitrocellulose?

Hi, the hose of my guitar hook is made of a sponge called EVA, which is very safe for your instrument and won't damage it at all.

I don't think an Acoustic Guitar would be the best fit for you
3/5

The design is flawed, the build is solid. In a nutshell The Koa, the Taylor 314) bump/ rest/ touch against the wall while hanging, causing a possible dent. It's difficult to use this design with an acoustic guitar because of the yoke where the neck hangs. A guitar with a thicker body can't be hung close enough to the wall. Specifically designed for thin body electric guitars, these hangers offer great results. You'll have an inch and a half of clearance from the wall with the thinner body electric guitar. I'm keeping the Taylors, but I have to attach a one-inch thick piece of oak to the wall first to prevent them from falling out.

A warning exists! Don't take any chances! I urge you to proceed with caution! You might damage your valuable instruments if you do this

As for the foam padding, it could melt? The foam padding on mine stuck like road tar on the sides of the neck where it made contact. This stuff is also hard to remove. They seem sturdy enough from the sturdiness point of view. As far as I'm concerned, mine are attached to wall studs, which is fine. The washer is not working. Can you tell me how brittle the screw is? Is it possible to pull the small nut I try to treat it gently, but I can't speak for anyone else. As a conclusion, I would say they are pretty durable. Personally, I am not completely convinced that they can be trusted. Then I'll use them since I've got In terms of the foam, how is it? It does not agree with me in the least. You just have to cut a polishing cloth into strips and wrap it around the foam. I see what you mean, oh yeah. It is not possible to twist and remove the hook It's the reason I have them installed, and I'll continue to use them in a careful manner. If I knew then what I know now, I would not have purchased these. It is not unusual for things to be overpriced. It's not always the case that you get It is now that I am beginning to doubt Maybe I should just go outside and get some nice ones and use those in the garage for my shovels, rakes, and other things like that. Anyway, I do hope that you will find this helpful during your decision-making. I am just sharing my own personal experiences and opinions here. I appreciate your kind words! Have a great day, and take care of yourself.

These work very well on electric guitars, but the hook is too short for acoustic guitars
3/5

Jagged edges have no place on an electric guitar. The studio she had was taken away when her mother moved in, and she had to re-locate We need to rearrange a few things. The hooks held the guitars well, but they were not far enough from the wall to allow them to hang vertically, the necks were in toward the wall, top and bottom of the body rub on the wall, bottom of body is about an inch above the wall. Among five different acoustics tested in the room, this performs the best. I had no trouble with hooks with electrics, or with I was looking for hooks advertised for acoustics, but I would not purchase for that purpose. I am looking for replacements that will use the same holes, or at least conceal There seem to be some imported items that were probably created first from behind a desk by an industrial designer who was given a picture of a guitar, and asked to do the job. As soon as the advertising copy person came in, she took over They kinda skipped the part where they actually tried the product out.

These hooks are perfect for hanging guitars of all shapes, sizes, and types, acoustic and electronic

In the first place, when using wall hangers for guitars, I recommend that you do not use the supplied drywall anchors, because they can loosen up over time and become unattached Keep as far away from him as possible. An upgraded 3 would be much better for you. For $5 you can get this board that is 4" wide It costs $10 (at your local lumber store) and requires 2" wood screws to be secured to the wall studs. Once you have the hangers on the board, attach them to it. If you do this, you should ideally have a 1x4 board. As the base plate of the hangers is about 3 inches wide, it should be at least 4" wide. The height of the top to the bottom is 5". For the most stable way to hang guitars, one can use a board secured to the wall studs. This is a good alternative to masonry and concrete wall installations with Another benefit of using a board is that it streamlines the process of installing those hangers. It is not necessary to drill or to manually pound drywall anchors in with a hammer screws can be driven directly into the board. Despite the distance, I was able to hang 6 guitars in only 10 minutes. This can be accomplished in a matter of minutes if you measure, pick up your electrical drill, and secure the hangers to the board. I am very happy with the hangers. In order to provide you with a reference photo of my completed installation, I took one. I found the hangers to be useful for guitars of different sizes and shapes. I was able to rest the head stock comfortably on the hangers without any problems. Further, on the hangers, the curved arm is enclosed by a fairly thick EVA foam sleeve to minimize the risk of your neck/headstock getting scratched or dented. There is no bending of the arms, they are thick gauge and extremely sturdy. These hooks are capable of holding the heaviest guitars and are strong enough to hang them. Anyone looking to suspend a guitar from the wall should consider this option. Buying this was a good choice.

They are decent hangers for the price, but I would not advise using the drywall anchors that come with them
4/5

My suspicion is that the heavier guitars might come crashing to the ground from the potential for "pull out. ". In addition to the anchor with a toggle, either mount a strip of wood between the studs of your wall and screw the hangers to that or, as I did, attach the hangers to a wood strip between the studs of your walls. After installing the first hanger, I did a test with a weight and saw that the forks of the hanger were "sagging" under its load. I took the time to tighten the nuts on the backside before mounting them. This problem seems to have been resolved and all others afterward by tightening the nut.
