Yes, in fact. However, if you're looking for a tone that sounds like oldies rock and blues, alnico pickups are a better option.

UPDATE: THIS PAGE HAS BEEN EDITED. This pickup appeals to me. It's my personal favorite of all the SD cards. This batch, however, has a flaw. I put one in about six months ago; The wiring is the same as it is for all SD cards. There will be no issues. The sound is incredible. It's impossible to top. However, I have since ordered two more, both of which are terrible. Unusable. My luthier even gave it a try and said it was terrible. So don't blame the pickup if you think it's not up to par. It was badly constructed by whoever created it. I was curious as to why they were being sold for such a low price. When I get another good one, I'll post an update. I hated to give the pickup a one-star rating, but there's a problem with the current models. I've got a slew of invaders and scumbags installed. It's been 6 days since I started this journey with the last batch of sh- What's going on? It was all so simple and perfect. Seymour Duncan is nothing like him. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> These pickup trucks are odd. So I gave it a third shot. I had to keep trying because they're so good. Once again, everything is set up, but the output is half that of a low-cost pickup. Pick it up by tapping on it. There is very little sound. Pick up the neck with a tap- loud. What exactly is going on here? So I go ahead and put the pickup in, hoping for the best, but it doesn't work. It's still hell on earth. So I start fiddling with the pickup and the wiring that comes from it, and voila, major feedback and yes! It sounds fantastic. Then, against my better judgment, I attempted to restore it to its previous state of non-operation. It doesn't matter; it works fine. I'd assume it was my wiring, but three of them? What if I told you that I could play three different guitars? And, in retrospect, I recall the first sh-t I heard. 5 I put in about 6 months ago and it did the same thing to me. So, I know it sounds crazy, but don't give up on this pickup just yet. Just know that you'll have to put in some extra effort and pray. And now I see they're even less expensive. $59. 00! Return to the chasm! Don't be discouraged if this happens to you, which I hope will not. Don't give up. It's well worth the money to get this pickup.
My PRS CE 24 was manufactured in 1993. I kept putting it down for my $500 Epiphone Les Paul after I got back into playing because it sounded better. How is it possible? I was a little jealous after watching a lot of YouTube videos of people making awesome tones, so I experimented with different strings, adjusted the entire guitar from string height to the tress rod, and even bought some electronic cleaning fluid to clean the pots. The overall tone was improved by making a note. The problem is that doing all of this improved the PRS's overall functionality and feel, so I decided to look for new pickups. After watching and listening to a lot of videos, it became clear that Seymour Duncan makes the best sounding pickups. br>br>I wanted a warmer tone in the bridge but still wanted to be versatile from rock to metal. I auditioned a variety of pickups before settling on these. Not only do they sound great, but they've also improved the tone of my PRS in ways I didn't anticipate. The sound of the guitar is PICKED UP! Not just "a sound," but a variety of sounds that my stock pickups were incapable of producing. It's not just that the guitar tone and sound are more responsive; it's also that my effects pedal sounds crystal clear and crisp, and I'm hearing tones and dynamics that I didn't realize my pedal could produce! It's as if I had an 8 Track and now I have HD audio (I have the Line 6 Firehawk FX, by the way). This is true for distortion and overdrive as well; I can hear reverb, flange, chorus, and other effects that my old pickup simply ignored. My guitar is finally sounding the way it should. Now all I have to do is improve my playing skills! P. br>br>P. br>br>P. br>br>P. I started by simply replacing the stock wires. However, because the 1993 pickups lacked a green wire, I ignored it. This merely allowed the bridge and neck positions to function (and didn't sound particularly good). Following more research, I simply grounded the greens, and the problem was solved!.
I bought this for a Gibson SG I'm restoring, and I'm blown away! Duncans are one of my favorite dogs, but this one has a lot of bite. Consider a Gibson pickup with more definition and punch, as well as a lower price tag.
This is one of my favorite pickups because it can play any type of music. It's perfect for metal when paired with the right amp. A sound with a slight scoop. With a warm, smooth distortion, it's very responsive.
The tone is brisk but not abrasive. Palm mutes, like open chords, sound nice and clear. I have a Seymour Duncan tb6 distortion that I prefer.
Although the bridge pickup was a little lacking, the SH5 is a fantastic pickup.
5 is . I have a PRS SE from the early 2000s that I'd like to replace the bridge pick on. (If you have a PRS made in the United States, you are unlikely to want to replace it. ) The pick-up was far too narrow when I received it. My high e string was dangling far beyond the magnet it was supposed to be attached to. I also noticed that the pick up was smaller than the stock neck pick up I have, so I returned it and replaced it with a TB-100. Instead, use the number 5. The tremolo size is slightly larger than the string spacing on the PRS SE stop bridge. It was, however, a better match than the SB-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX 5br>br>Assuming that the tuberculosis (TB) virus is present, The SB- 5 is simply a larger version of the SB- The pick-up is fantastic at number five. My leads have a lot of fat sustain and my lows have a lot of growls. When these pickups are distorted, power chords and complex jazz chords sound fantastic. According to the reviews, this pickup will produce a Metallica-like tone. This is not correct. Simply using this pickup will give you a heavier tone with more lows than classic Metallica. I suppose you could EQ out the lows and try to create a tone that sounds like Metallica.
It's paired with a Pearly Gates card in my collection. On steroids, it's a fire breathing 59. It is very easy to clean. I'm wearing it around my neck with a Pearly Gates pendant. That is outstanding. roll!.
