When we were finished mounting the single coil pups to the shiny new black pickguard, we found that each screw had left a sparkle pattern after leaving gold dust/specks where the finish had come away when the screws were simply screwed in. The remainder of the specs are from Fender.
The next time I build a stratocaster, I will use these. The gold hardware looks awesome and they go well with the rest of my device. Despite the fact that there are plenty of extra screws in case you lose any, these screws are solid. use them with my Klein pickups and they are perfect. I highly recommend this book. Moreover, I discovered that the screws can be used to mount pedals to the bottom of the guitar. It was one type of pedal that needed longer screws to accommodate the bike chain links, and these were perfect for the job. A total of three silver screws #6 hold this piece in place.
