There were two Vintage Reissue Strats at the time, the 1957 and the 1962, so they were probably developed almost thirty years ago. Due to their use in both, the trucks were given the same name and it has never been changed.

In the past, I was ignorant of the need to perform continuity testing on new pickups I foolishly assumed that a new pickup would simply work (as it does I did a complete electronics rebuild on a copy of a Strat only to find the middle pickup was not working. Testing indicated that this pickup had a broken coil based on the infinite resistance it showed. However, that is just an insult added to the injury caused by these pickups. They do have a 60 cycle hum that is far worse than anything I have ever heard on a It was impossible to even leave the soldering iron on if it was in the same room as me while I checked Even after I scraped off the gunk that Fender had used to cover the induction coil mounting plates, the screws provided didn't fit in the mounting holes. There was a problem with the lead brackets on two of the pickups. The leads were mounted too close to the coil, making the covers impossible to seat As if all this wasn't enough, three of the six leads on the set of pickups were cold-soldered. I learned a lesson from this We will not be using Fender components for future builds. *Edit
My suspicion is that these are NOT Fender pick-ups. I could not accept that Fender quality had gotten so bad, so I took a chance and ordered another set (Tex Mexs There was a night and day difference. Those on the new set were correctly soldered, good windings were used, and the backs were clearly marked with their output and location. As a result The Fender company apologizes and condemns Amazon for allowing counterfeit items to be sold under the Fender brand.
The first guitar I ever owned (a Mexican Stratocaster from '94), I installed them, and I have switched it to a Vox A15 with a bit of overdrive. The last single coil guitar I have will be that one. The tone is very similar to the solo guitar in the Beatles' 1965 song 'Nowhere Man' (which is a Stratocaster, I believe). In particular, I'm fond of the neck pickup sound, but they all sound very different and great. That's what your Strat should do if you want it to do strat stuff. Additionally, I'm sort of a big fan of the movie. Added custom options to the installation. I decided to make a big project out of it, since the guitar was quite old and had a yellowing/browned pickguard, etc. I used expensive parts not available elsewhere. I can also play these pickups in series (BM, or NM) on the Stratocaster, which gives them a more humbucker-like sound. The tone is similar to the original and better for heavier distortions, with the option of playing There is an emphasis on the treble phase (which is highly visible). Although they sound good, these unconventional connections can't match the in-depth sounds of the individual pickups. Despite what you might think, I did not alter the original appearance of the guitar when I installed these parts. There's a possibility I will get more sounds out of them because I switched to 500K potentiometers instead of the native 250K ones, so I wanted to mention that The pickups in my guitar are great and I am glad to have them.
Compared to the stock Delta Tones, these pickups possess an excellent sound. The bell-like tones are great when clean and get even better when overdriven. I can tell that I'm playing a Strat because the tone is true to style. It's a Stratocaster sound, but it's not shrill like the stock pickup. I like the neck pickup best but if you prefer the tube screamer sound, get the Texas Special pickups. This is my preferred choice as I already own a tube screamer pedal, so this is It was a great decision to purchase these pumps.
A fender Chinese strat was recently completely rebuilt by me for my first time. We sanded all white wood down to the real thing after burning that ugly black finish. I suspected it to be a solid body, and I was right. My goal was to find a set of these pickups with an original Fender switch, volume, and tone pot. I read all I could on the internet and it matched what I had experienced. We are grateful to Fender for producing such a good It is located in Lansing, Michigan.
Getting up at night and going to bed at night. A Spanish version of the classic Strat pups. Big, bright, clear, Considering how little I knew about what I should get, I took a chance, but nearly five years later, I'm really glad I picked Really glad you like it! Unlike humbuckers, they do not have a single coil. It is the sound of a Stratocaster that defines it.
It has taken me just a few hours but the 57/62's have already made a serious impact on my 1980's Korean squire strat using mojotone solderless. Because I am primarily an acoustic player, I did not want to buy a new Fender guitar, so this mod made a lot of sense to me. I also loved the tone with the tone blender! The pickups are a bit warmer and the tone is better than ever. It's a great pickup! I highly recommend it!.
I am very happy with how they Next time I'm working on a strategy, these will be in there again!.
It was an open box/used pickup. I paid for new pickups, received scratched and scuffed pickups. Scratches and scuffs were visible on the pickup covers. There was a crack in the box and it was not sealed. Despite the pickups working, I expected to receive a new product and not damaged goods after I purchased a new product.
