Questions & Answers

How well do these necks fit a charvel san dimas pro mod?

Be sure to check the bolting pattern of the new neck and the width of the new It is imperative that both of these match. Observation 2. Make sure that both of the necks have the same number of frets. It is essential that the necks are of the same length when setting up so you can intonate.

This is supposed to fit the Ibanez RG570 models from the 80s - Did you grow up in the 90s? At some point during the middle of the 1970s, Ibanez changed the wizard neck The late 90s and the 2000s were a time of such changes. ?

I have no idea.

To this point, how long is it taking the offers to come in to the USA?

Dear customer, I would like to say hello. A copy of this item will be delivered by Amazon. There is a good chance that it will reach your address very soon. It is not necessary for you to

What type of frets does it already have?

Basically, all of the parts are ready for use. Structural components like the rod and truss. Unfinished wood is all it is. My guitar is mounted on a $40 thrift shop Starcaster, I invested $25 in a loaded pick guard, bought some nice tuners and it sounds awesome! You will find FRET wires in this area. In addition to sanding and using teak oil on this neck, I also used some other finishing methods.

You should not buy anything unless you are prepared for the job! It was such a thrill to get this neck after just two I was stoked with the quality and the appearance of the product
3/5

According to the second impression, the inlay finish had sanding marks on it. There are several things to keep in mind You will have to give it a coat. As far as the fretboard is concerned, you can't leave it unfinished, as then finger oil and dirt will stain it. The fretboard has to be coated, however frets should not be coated in any way. It was time-consuming to remove it, as I did not do it beforehand. You may need to sand the heel and shape it to fit. Do not try this if you don't feel comfortable doing it. You will either have a useless neck or you will need to pay someone else to do it for you. You may need to drill your own holes. To do this, screws will need to be inserted into the heel, truss rod cover, locking nut, string guide (and possibly increase tuning machine holes in the process). The bottom line is this is a great neck and it is better than any other replacement for the money, but it will require Wishing you the best of.

My jaw dropped when I saw your work! My neck just arrived after I inquired about the tracking follow up (I live on the opposite side of the globe - thanks! Toward the far south of the Southern Hemisphere
5/5

My view is that it is similar to a Jackson, maybe even better since I have had factory Jacksons with some minor issues. I can tell it has been picked carefully, it does not need to be sanded, granted you understand (it is pretty clear) that you will have to coat it with clear and so on, but the finish is more than fine, no rough edges. I strongly believe that this guitar's fretboard was carefully chosen and that the fret work is extremely good, with no hard edges, perfectly inserted, and the fretwork is superb. No glue is evident, there is no mess, no rough edges, the shark inlays are perfectly leveled, that's how well put together they are. It appears either that they are made of tainted maple cut to perfection from the neck to avoid a mess or made from another species of wood. My suspicion is that it might be maple stained black, but I'm open to being corrected. No matter what, it looks super neat. I believe the fretboard radius is a little flatter than the Jackson (10 vs 12 I believe), but I may be mistaken, it is a radius that does lend itself to If I had my way, the back of the neck would be perfectly smooth, just waiting for a simple clear coating. I swear Jackson uses these guys for their custom necks. The head is another outstanding piece of work that is clean and sharp, and I have not seen a single crack, dent, or anything similar. I am extremely impressed with this piece of work. Maple is an incredibly high-quality material, it is a work of art which is highly detailed and exquisite. There is a lot of wood in it, which makes it a good density, not the cheap pine radiata we use for some of our lemon houses. I'd say there is some good maple in here. Only the tracking froze at some point, so I wrote to the seller who responded immediately There was no delay, the delivery took place within the timeframe stated by the seller I am on the other side of the world from Covid. It was never going to be super fast, but then the wait (2 to 3 months as advertised) made it all the more worthwhile. This product holds true to the design of a Jackson neck exactly and I have two of them. I was expecting to be able to tell instantly that this wasn't a Jackson neck, but it's 100% true to the design. I took these photos with a low resolution iphone 5, so rely on me when I say this neck is amazing.

My Jackson body was made for this
5/5

The mileage may vary from person to person. My Jackson body was made for this. The end product needs to be good. It looks good when I use Tru oil. If you're going to route your body for 24 frets, make sure it does so. It is important to tune your frets to a 5 scale, otherwise you will have out-of-tune frets, regardless of your intonation adjustments. The neck is a good buy for the price. There were no sharp edges and the height was perfect. Depending on your mileage, it may be different. We were surprised by how quickly our order arrived.

A good construction is not so great when it comes to details
3/5

The neck has a good construction but the fretwork seemed lazy to me, and the inlays seem to be stickers of some kind that are glued on rather than As far as the rest goes, it's great and really doesn't matter to me how it looks.

Neck of decent quality
4/5

Ordering a neck from an online source that hasn't been fitted for your guitar will require you to adjust the truss rod, or tune the tuning peg holes and There is nothing different about this. The neck is nice, regardless of that fact. The build quality is excellent and the price is right. Thought it was going to take a while for it to arrive!.

The complete and utter waste of time
3/5

There was a crack in the bag where the headstock was. It didn't seem like there were any seats available for the guests. There are holes and gaps in the inlays, like a strange paint. I find this very strange. A neck like this is only worth about ten dollars at most.

I thought it would be better than it was
5/5

There are no sharp edges or extremely high frets on this guitar. I appreciated the neck so much more than I expected it to be. The next time I buy one, it will definitely be a different one.

I found it to be better than anticipated
5/5

This is a superbly made product. A smooth finish was achieved through sanding. Just a little sanding and a sealer, and this neck will be ready to be used.
