On a Firefly 338, a Gibson/Epiphone 335 clone, I installed this bridge. It's fantastic.

This was purchased to replace the Firefly 338 bridge that came with the vehicle. It has the correct 12" radius, and the height adjustment screws simply screw into the existing body fittings. It's a quick and painless upgrade that pays off big time. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that I had to cut the saddle springs in half on the low E, A, and D in order to adjust the intonation further. The Firefly is now not only fun to play, but it's also addictive.
Installation was simple and went right over the existing posts. It was when I began to intonate that I began to have issues. The low E string saddle would barely move, and I ended up stripping the Phillips screw head (duh). After I noticed, I oiled it up, and everything else worked fine, except my strings, which sounded dead. Steel appears to be a fairly inexpensive material. I was under the impression that it would be of higher quality than the bridge that came with my guitar, but I was mistaken.
On a Firefly FFLP, it's used to swap out the stock bridge. I was able to jump right in and adjust my intonation with ease. For the price, the quality is excellent.
I recently decided to bring my first guitar back to life. This was purchased to replace the original bridge on my Epiphone SG-style guitar, which had wobbly saddles. br>It was a perfect fit; sure, there are some blemishes, but it's a lot better than the original bridge, and it doesn't wobble. br>I had to cut two of the springs during intonation, but I can't say I blame the bridge. br>Overall, for $13, I couldn't have asked for anything more.
The Wilkinson Bridge has exceeded my expectations. When you've had enough of a buzzing and unstable stock unit, I highly recommend one of these for less expensive guitar builds.
On a Firefly fflp, I used this to replace the infamously irritating stock bridge. The saddle adjustment screws on the stock bridge rattled like crazy and refused to stay in tune. The Wilkinson takes care of this because it has springs that keep the saddles and screws in place. It's not as good as a Gotoh or something similar in terms of quality, but it's hard to beat for the price!.
I tried the Babicz and other bridges and returned them, so I bought this bridge as a last resort before selling the guitar, and it fixed my intonation issues and the squeaky buzzing G string. I bought a second one for my other guitar, which has a factory-installed junk o matic bridge.
There's no rattling like the cheaply made ones, and it's well-made. I would buy this item again because it is a perfect fit.
