HI*br>The hole alignments will not be OK, but the shape should be OK. The drilling should be okay as long as you're okay with having your Squier drilled into.
It is true.
The one I installed on an American model many years ago may not be very accurate in my memory. The screw holes match perfectly in some places, but on others you may need to drill a pilot hole. My recollection is that one of the holes is so slightly crooked that you will need to fill it with something and redrill and screw again. Near the controls for volume and tone, it is located in the middle.
With a Squier classic vibe p bass attached, this fit without needing extra holes drilled. It is, of course, optional to use the thumb rest.

My favorite part of the aluminum anodized PG is the look, but I find the feel against my fingernails to be like a chalkboard. The surface looks wonderful as is, but I am tempted to put on a coat of flat clear lacquer to protect it. Here's the latest I have had it on my bass for quite a while and still enjoy The chalk board theme was completely solved when I sprayed it with clear satin poly a couple of years ago. Just a little bit of a darkening has taken place, but it still looks fantastic.
I got this thing on my white MIM P bass and it looks killer.
This Fender replacement fits true 57 reissues, as well as the American Standard Precision without any modifications. The screw holes are all matched to the current holes, with the exception of one hole under volume control that is very close to the edge of the routing. In some cases, depending on the manufacturing variations between years, you may have to drill a pilot hole for this screw or use a dowel if the underside of the screw is not wood. This is an excellent product, if you want to look like it's from the 1950s.
A screw was glued in that didn't line up, as another reviewer pointed out, and the rest of the product looks wonderful.
A white plastic pick guard on a Pbass needed to be replaced with this. My model was a little tight, so I used a pen knife to take a little bit of aluminum off around the neck shape section. I carefully shaved a fraction at a time, then checked again until it I really like it It looks so much better with an anodized gold pickguard instead of the stock white one. It also has screw holes that do not exactly match up, so I had to fill in a couple using toothpicks and super glue gel. I also had to cut out The result is still the same I was glad it worked out. The bass almost looks like it was just bought today. It's nice to see the.
This would be perfect with an off-the-shoulder dress You should pick a fish that is cream or white in color.
