They all differ; in terms of parts, it was about 6 pounds without anything on it, from what I recall.
There should be no issues with the neck heel size. br>You may need to shim it (with metal washers or wood) to get the neck angle right, or you could plug the holes in the neck with dowels and re-assemble it. drilling new holes that are perfectly aligned with the existing holes in the body
It will fit any Fender 4 string bass neck from Mexico or the United States. It was also compatible with Fender necks from the 1960s and 1970s.
It's a three-color sunburst, despite the misleading picture and name. I was expecting it to be similar to the vintage two-color (black/brown), but it isn't.

These bodies are extremely well-made, with a stunning finish. They say the American Fender is the best, and who am I to argue with them, but blimey, I've been playing the P bass for 50 years or more, and these mates are incredible.
It makes a difference if you use Fender parts. It makes no difference whether you're from the United States or Mexico. In my experience, Fender is reliable.
