shorter shaft will work just as well as the regular. A speaker or a guitar with thick bodied strings may have a long shaft. The output jack on your Tele will work as long as it is either on the edge of guitar or on the inserted jack plate. A star washer should always be placed on the inside of the jack to prevent it from loosening.
With this jack, real Electrosockets will work perfectly. The Electrosocket is available in imports only, and requires an import socket.
In short, yes. There is typically no difference in the size of input jacks regardless of brand. This should fit just fine. It's also very easy to solder and install. It's my pleasure to help!
The hole must be 3/8" in diameter to accommodate this jack.

As soon as I get my guitars back from the shop, I'll add some to each one to continue using them after I retire.
In conjunction with this jack, a nut is unavailable which will allow the jack to open easily, allowing the guard to rest flush against it. You can tell that the Fender and Squire P-47 is just about the best you will ever see If you look at the input jack for bass, you will see how low it is profiled. The top of the jack has a nut to hold it in place, but on the backside, another nut (identical to the one on top) is supposed to lock the jack fully to the pickguard so it can't move. It's the same thing with P It is a bass with no pickguard on the top, but it is inserted directly into the drilled out hole on the top. Which is the difference?
Let me explain. Pots and jacks are made with nuts that are special to them. It is not possible to find these items in a home center. If you want them, you'll need to go through a luthier company like Stewart MacDonald's. I find it unfortunate that the manufacturer of this jack did not consider how this is typically mounted and it is mandatory for these to have the adjustment nut in order for them to stay It is also important to note that these are SAE nuts and not metric, so you must select that option when ordering that extra nut. Yes, I "could" have just used a bunch of flat washers, but that is simply In order for me to buy something, the item must be a direct drop-in replacement. The marketing for this product is like that. It should be noted that this is NOT a complete drop in solution. It is necessary for bass amplifiers with jacks mounted on the top to have that adjustment.
You do get ONE nut and one washer with this jack. In this case, I was replacing the jack that came with the guitar kit and realized that there was no possible way to make the jack flush with the mounting plate without adding more washers and without applying one more adjustment nut. that I've found the nut, I need to go to Home Depot, Lowes, ACE Hardware, etc. to find ONE more nut to fit the I read in other reviews that this is not an ordinary nut, which means hardware stores are unlikely to carry it. The Chinese jack appeared to have two nuts (which were of a different pitch, so that they could not be used on.
It is useless. It may only be a one-time event The order was going off error, but I wouldn't order it You can see the photo I included below. This is a SWITCHCRAFT plug, inserted FULLY There is an issue with the plug's center electrode being too tall for the tip groove to lock it in place. There is no need to remove the plug. It is impossible to bend the center lug to fit as it is a no go because Three is the number There is a 4mm length difference. A poorly made forgery or parts from a long collar jack used for a short collar jack is likely to cause this. I am not going to use this There will be no shopping for me here. It did not make sense to try a second time.
My old guitar's pots were scratchy and the output jack was faulty, so I rewired it. As opposed to taking off the cheap part, the replacement part was much larger and more substantial. A single "complaint" is that the connection feels very tight. Perhaps it is As soon as I installed this product, I went for my guitar lesson and was unable to plug in the cable that my teacher had in his studio. I have also tried plugging in a cable at home and at another, but both are really tight - even tighter than on the stock jack on the For the price you pay, however, it is a great upgrade. Aside from a strat jack, I plan on replacing my guitar jack with one of these.
Despite the harness working well, the jack that matches the plate has a problem. There are threads that jump on the jam nut. For quite a while, I have been using this Switchcraft jack, and it hasn't let me down. only took a few seconds for the jam nut to be soldered and secured. The purchase of a quality jack is certainly worth the extra couple of bucks.
When trying to put on the nut on the other jack, which was fine on the first try, it broke immediately. Even when tightened, the dial jack would whirl even when the nut was threaded on well. Unfortunately, something inside the jack broke, and the dial jack started spinning even when held by the terminals. Taking this apart and resoldering it is not an option for me. My guess is that I will just have to live with the.
The following was used in the full re-write This is the wire I have on my Epiphone Les Paul, and it works In addition, the stock input jack has two tiny notches on either side of the cover, which means it can't rotate once installed. I had to drill out the cover because the stock input jack has a notch on each side. This process was very easy and the jack fits snugly, which is a great feature.
