It was difficult to choose a tuning fork on Amazon because there were so few reviews, and those that did exist frequently complained of bent prongs, breakage, or poor metal edge quality. The more expensive and well-reviewed tuning fork sets for full audiometry aren't required in family practice, so they weren't an option. This tuning fork isn't aimed at allopathic medicine practitioners, but it's exactly what I needed. There are no sharp edges, the prongs are straight, and it appears to be quite sturdy. The small wooden striking tool is also quite attractive. I usually rap a tuning fork in my hand's palm, which is fine - It serves its purpose - However, I've discovered that if I tap it hard enough with the rubberized striking implement, the vibratory tone lasts longer. My palm isn't hurting in the same way. I can't imagine carrying the striker around in my lab coat, but if it's in my office drawer, I could use it. When it comes to audio testing, I've heard differing opinions on whether to use a 128 hz or 512 hz tuning fork. In the end, I chose a 128 hz fork because the sound is less irritating to patients.

I use the mallet to smack the fork (it works great!). ) produces a clear sound that lasts a few seconds. As a former musician, I find the pitch to be excellent. This is something I'm using to try and re-energize myself. stimulate nerve pathways and place the fork's base on specific bones in my leg (Soft tissue is not present in the arms).

My body is filled with a variety of aches and pains. When I try to move or use my arms, it hurts and makes me want to stop doing things. When I'm tired and lazy, just massaging myself is too much effort; the tuning fork is a simple solution that is easy to use when I'm tired and gets rid of enough pain to get me up and moving again. It doesn't completely eliminate the pain, but it helps to alleviate it. br>I imagine that if I knew what I was doing, I could alleviate some of the discomfort. I only tried it on muscles and bones to see how it would react.

Although the finish is not long-lasting, the product remains functional. Note that I use this in the garden to increase pollination of my solanaceous plants such as tomatoes, peppers, and other similar plants; it is not used for medical or therapeutic purposes.

It does not precisely resonate at 128Hz, which isn't a con because I won't be using it for instrument tuning. It appears to range between 125 and 150. 125 6. I'm extremely disappointed. When I attempted to reposition the two tips, the mechanic rolling (I'm not sure what the exact vocab is) was damaged, and one is now higher than the other. I did my best to care for it, but the quality is poor. Please take a look at the photos.
