That's not true, according to me. Mandolins and ukuleles with flat backs can be used with this. There was no problem in fitting the mandolin to me since its back is flat.
In any case, you would have to spray it with some sort of water repellent. Nevertheless, is it water resistant? The NI don't believe that to be the case.
There is only a single strap on it. If you need to secure it for this purpose, you may want to add a second strap.

Considering the price, this is a pretty good value for an A-grade case You can make a mandolin in any style you want. My thinner mandolin fits okay as well (as shown in the picture) and I have two A-style mandolins and one is a little thicker than the other. Despite appearing fragile, the outer material is pretty durable, and the lining works well for this Although I am sure there are better cases at this price, the padding feels like a fluffy foam about 1/2 inch thick and not very firm I also did not see any sort of tag, so I'm not sure where this is made, maybe wherever is noted in The zippers work fine, but as you can see from the pictures, they don't appear to be any particular name brand (like YKK). I assume it is imported because I can't imagine anyone would make this in the USA and not publicize that on the product. There is no frills about the handle, and it seems to be securely attached. In short, I think the back strap will work for light carrying. However, it is not likely to be easily removed unless you simply don't like it and wish As you can see in the picture, the pocket is the size shown there and fits easily the 6"x9" I'd recommend you check that out to get an idea of what fits in there, not that you'd want to carry envelopes in them. It would be fine to put a couple of string sets, a capo, and a tuner. It also might be able to fit a decent size tablet inside, or perhaps some folded sheet music. So, overall, it's not bad for a mandolin of this price range. I gave it five stars due to its low price, and to its apparent durability for light use.
I wish I could write a review of this bag because it is a terrific bag that I am very happy to have acquired. The shirt is simple and does not have unnecessary frills. It has only an accent stripe around the pocket, and preferably An all-purpose gig bag that is simple and effective. I fitted my electric mandolin into it and a little pocket for accessories was included. As far as protecting the piano from scratches and keeping dust off when I'm not playing, the bag works nicely so far. It isn't super plush, and I wouldn't want to rough it up when I am not playing. The precaution of protecting your instrument is absolutely recommended to those who are already reasonably careful with their instruments.
Is configured to do what it is intended I can't believe how cheap it is. My child will receive a mandolin as a gift, so I can give him an inexpensive protective case. If they want a hard case at some point, they can buy one for themselves. Another reviewer noted that despite being the same size as another case, this did not look wrinkled or need ironing. The price is great for what you get.
This is a highly recommended product! There is nothing better than a soft case like this. My Hola mandolin fits well in this case. The lining is soft so it won't scratch your skin, and it zips all the way around the bag. In addition to this, the front pocket zips most of the way around so you can pull it open to store your strap, picks, etc. Furthermore, there is a side handle and a shoulder strap that make it easy to The soft case wouldn't let me throw my guitar around, so I wouldn't do that. I use it to store my mandolin and make sure the cat doesn't get into it. You could also use something like this if you want something that is well priced and you like to keep your mandolin dust-free but don't want to throw it in the back of the car haphazardly. The result is very pleasing to me.
This is a great option for anyone who needs a storage and transportable solution for their mandolin! Besides my non-heavy traveling with it, I am very happy with it when I use it (mostly) at.
As I was unable to find a gig bag that would fit and as Ovation's prices for gig bags and cases for it seemed absolutely outrageous, it has been on a wall hanger ever since I got it. The banjo actually came from this order - A mandolin was too big, but wasn't as loud as a guitar. My mind started to wander to the Ovation to see if it would I love the way it fits. This is exactly what I wanted! I'm so happy I got it!.
I am not sure why it is not breakable, also, it looked like it had been run over by a freight train, rolled up like a newspaper. Wrapped very tightly in Sarran wrap, and then wrapped in clear tape, and it was twisted like a mummy, and it was so thin, it didn't even pierce the plastic. This was the most horrible package ever who could iron polyurethane? I suggest you order this if you like Knicker cases!.
Although the construction and padding of the bag are great, the bag stinks like a million bucks! The silver coating on the decorative piping is partially peeled off as well. Chinese pollution is harmful to my health, and I don't want to be inhaled/touched by it. I'm returning it, and hoping it can be replaced with something made in the United States.
