In terms of tom pads, the 12" pad will work with the 12" tom, but the 10" pad will need to be purchased separately or, if you're not using the 13" or 14" pad, cut it down to fit.
What a surprise. As far as I can remember, I've never had this problem since I keep my drum heads at a relatively flat angle, and my hoops have always been large enough to hold the pads in place. As far as I know, they aren't meant to stick to a really steep drum with low hoops, if that's what your setup is like. Using elastic or adjustable Velcro ties around the drums on the edges of their heads would make it less likely for you to strike the drums you could use a tape that would only stick to the rims but not the head- There might be some solution that works without leaving behind any residue on the rim, but I'm not sure what would work. It's probably hard to upgrade your hoops if you don't have these pads, and you may not wish to upgrade your hoops without them. My efforts were probably in vain, but I did my best.

" They appear to be well made and fit well. Only the lack of 'rebound' to the sticks during play is a concern, a criticism that has been noted by many players. Simple steps can be taken to fix the problem. It is because the drum head underneath isn't stiff enough to hold the pad firmly in place that there is no rebound.
So I did the following I cut circles from 1/4"-diameter cardstock with the same diameter as the pads on top. It is constructed from 1" thick tempered Masonite. A 2 X 2 is then used as a backer A piece of double-sided paper, 12 inches by 12 inches With the backing tape [in the center of the pad], the pad was stuck to the Masonite. br>br>Now, with the firmness of the Masonite, the stick rebound simulates hitting the real drum.
These drum pads saved my life since they did everything they said they would. The bat I was chasing around my house now doesn't chase my wife around anymore when my daughter plays the drums.

Usually I can play my drums in a room in the house that is fine to play in, but with the Corona virus keeping everyone home all day I had to find a way to keep other people from being bothered by my practice. The need to muffle the kit without losing the feeling of the heads and stick rebound is what I was looking for, and the Evens "Sound Off" pads provided that perfectly. Despite others in the house doing things that require a level of quietness, the sticks bounce very nicely off the pads and the muffled effect was just what I needed to allow me to practice even with others around. The next thing I need to do is purchase cymbal pads to muffle the sound. It would have been nice if I had been able to rate highly the durability since I haven't used them long enough to know how they will hold up over time. More importantly, they seem to be going to hold up perfectly well.
The dampeners I bought were for my snare drum and I've always played with Promark H-based instruments and I will continue to do so In terms of performance, these dampeners do a nice job. They do reduce the initial thud on the drums, but the overall volume of the hit is not lessened The sound quality isn't good enough for playing drums with your grandmother next door - I wouldn't recommend them. The medication does, however, ease some of the discomfort. These are actually much more useful for creating a "different" sound for the drums. It almost gives it a deeper profile, similar to what you might hear on a hip-hop record. It could be a hip hop album or an I don't know how to explain it, but I love the sound I get from My goal with this setup is to take the dampeners off when I play rock and return them to the rig when I play anything more rhythmic or when I want a unique sound when In spite of the overall decline in volume and response, this does not seem to be a major factor. The reason why I enjoy them is because they provide me with It sounds like a different kit to me in a good way.
If you want something to muffle your drums, I would recommend purchasing a pack of microfiber rags and taping them to your drum heads to do so. Rather than changing the tone, this dampens the sound the right way. These are worth the price, especially if you are a home recorder and want to know what new sounds are like.
I don't know what to say. My practice time is now pretty quiet and I don't have to worry about disturbing anybody It is amazing how effective they are in cutting 85% of noise. In the snare drum, it is still necessary to disengage the snare wires or else the snare will be loud. As well as Tom, they're awesome. It will be a very happy day for neighbors. While someone is sleeping next to me, I wouldn't bang these for hours at a time. The problem is that these will allow you to practice during people's waking hours. A few of these are necessary if you live in an apartment. It is impossible for your neighbors to hear you if you live in a house. We are very pleased with your work.
